TOOL LENDING LIBRARYThe Tool Lending Library program loans tools free of charge to customers working on short-term energy-efficiency projects.

Tool users include building owners, facility managers, as well as energy services professionals in California. The range of tools includes lighting and plug load data loggers, infrared cameras, and air flow measurements tools for HVAC equipment.

The tools can provide information, help to troubleshoot performance problems on how to save energy and money.

PATHWAY 2045

GOING NEUTRALBy 2045, California will be powered by 100% carbon-free electricity. All greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) produced by the economy will subsequently be removed from the atmosphere through carbon sequestration, also known as carbon sinks.

Going neutral will require planning to keep energy safe, reliable and affordable for all Californians.

By 2045, California will emit only a quarter of the GHGs emit today. The same amount of GHGs will be removed fro

the atmosphere, getting us to carbon neutrality.

Carbon neutrality will require electrification

across the state’s economy by 2045.
