The Model 112 case erector is no light weight Itrsquos robust body and reliable case forming mechanism allows it to produce up to 15 CPM The 112 adopts the features of high speed case erectors into a compact and versatile unit ultimately providing you with a machine that meets the most demanding production requirements

MODEL PRO-FORMA 330 CASE ERECTOR

In Hot Melt or Tape

The Model 330 case erector is a heavy duty powerhouse as shown above Its continuous motion drive performs case forming and case sealing operations at speeds of 35 CPM Using PLC electronics to control the operations and document the performance of the machine this case erector is also operator friendly with touch screen controls

Precision Case Opening

Two bellows-style grippers hold the case firmly from below as the grippers on the cam-operated opening arm pull the case open The dual grippers over-open the outer flaps slightly to ensure smooth inner flap closing A case open sensor monitors proper case opening

Quick Size Adjustments

Our range of case erectors can run a variety of sizes equally well The machine can be quickly set up to run a variety of sizes using quick adjustment points and levers to ensure that you are up and running your production line within minutes

Square Sealed Cases

As the outer flaps are closed a steel tongue slides in the flap gap to prevent flap overlap Cases are squared by upper and lower motorized roller supported transfer belts as the tape is applied Cases that exit from this case erector are sealed squared and ready for case packing

Positive Case Feeding

Grouping station

Depending on the application product grouping could be handled by a range of technologies from a simple 90 degree pusher to a racetrack system Either way we ensure the product is gently grouped together

Servo down stacker

After the collated product is brought onto the blank a servo-driven down stacker descends the blank and products to the indexing drive If multiple layers are required the down stacker will descend accurately so that the next layer is loaded onto the case The servo drive ensures speed and accuracy to achieve this critical process

Folding amp gluing station

In the lowest position the preformed carton is taken over by an indexing cycle-chain and moved horizontally During this movement hotmelt glue is applied and the case gets its final shape in the compression section

Size change

The INVOPAC size change is fast easy and accurate without using any special tools The adjustments on the basic packer are done with hand wheels and digital read out while the infeed pre-grouping and blank magazine are done with quick release handles and scales

Film cutting amp feeding section

Such wrapped packs arrive in the shrink tunnel where the film is shrunk and the overlapping film ends are laminated to a tight sealed pack

Shrink Film Applicator

Applying the film around the packis in accordance with over-lapping principle One piece of film is cut from the film reel and is wrapped around the products by the wrapping rod in such a way that the two film ends overlap on its underside which will finally seal in the shrink tunnel

Product Spacing and Synchronizing

The pre-grouping section cre-ates a gap between the product groups thus allowing the fly bars to enter there from the top and push the collation into the film overwrapping area

Gentle product handling

With suitable product infeed system shaped bottles can also be handled gently

After the collated product is brought onto the blank a servo-driven down stacker descends the blank and products to the indexing drive If multiple layers are required the down stacker will descend accurately so that the next layer is loaded onto the case The servo drive ensures speed and accuracy to achieve this critical process

Folding amp gluing station

In the lowest position the preformed carton is taken over by an indexing cycle-chain and moved horizontally During this movement hotmelt glue is applied and the case gets its final shape in the compression section

Size change

The INVOPAC size change is fast easy and accurate without using any special tools The adjustments on the basic packer are done with hand wheels and digital read out while the infeed pre-grouping and blank magazine are done with quick release handles and scales
