When
will
Christ
reign?
Between the
first & second
coming
(present reign)
Immediately after
the Second
Coming (future
reign)
between the first &
second comings, but
arriving by degrees
(present reign)
How will
Christ
reign?
Christ rules over
a spiritual
Kingdom in the
hearts of
believers on
earth & over the
souls of the
redeemed in
heaven (spiritual
reign).
Christ will rule
personally over a
literal, physical,
earthly kingdom
with Satan bound &
the Curse reversed
(earthly reign).
Christ rules in the
hearts of believers as
the church brings in
the Kingdom by the
triumph of the gospel
in this world (spiritual
reign).

APPLICATION
We should not allow our viewpoints
on the Millennium to divide us.
in essentials, unity
in non-essentials, liberty
in all things, charity
Three Functions of the
Millennium
1. To Reward the Faithful.
2. To Redeem the Creation.
3. To Fulfill Biblical Covenants.
• Take over the Kingdom (Dan 7:18, 22)
• Judge the world and the angels (1 Cor 6:2-3)
• Rule over the nations (Rev. 2:26-27)
• Reign with Christ for a thousand years (Rev
20:6)
God Will Reward the Faithful.
Isaiah 11:6-8 (NLT)
“In that day the wolf and the lamb will live
together; the leopard will lie down with the
baby goat. The calf and the yearling will be
safe with the lion, and a little child will lead
them all. The cow will graze near the bear. The
cub and the calf will lie down together. The
lion will eat hay like a cow. The baby will play
safely near the hole of a cobra. Yes, a little
child will put its hand in a nest of deadly
snakes without harm.”
1. Abrahamic Covenant (Gen 12:1-3; 15:18-21)
2. Land Covenant (Deut 30:1-10)
3. Davidic Covenant (2 Sam 7:12-16)
4. New Covenant (Jer 31:31-34)
God Will Fulfill Biblical Covenants.

Isaiah 65:20 (NLT)
“No longer will babies die when only a
few days old.
No longer will adults die before they
have lived a full life.
No longer will people be considered old
at one hundred!
Only the cursed will die that young!”
Isaiah 2:4 (NLT)
“The Lord will mediate between nations and
will settle international disputes. They will
hammer their swords into plowshares and their
spears into pruning hooks. Nation will no
longer fight against nation, nor train for war
anymore.”
God is faithful to keep His promise.
“What God has done in the past, is a
model and a promise of what he will do
again in the future.” Dr. Allman

10 WAYS TO PRAY
FOR OUR PERSECUTED FAMILY
1. Pray that persecuted believers will
sense God’s presence (Heb. 13:5).
2. Pray they will feel connected to the
greater Body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:20,
26).
3. Pray they will experience God’s
comfort when their family members
are killed, injured or imprisoned for
their witness (2 Cor. 1:3–5).
4. Pray they will have more
opportunities to share the gospel
(Col. 4:3).
5. Pray for their boldness to make Christ
known (Phil. 1:14).
6. Pray they will forgive and love their
persecutors (Matt. 5:44)
7. Pray their ministry activities will
remain undetected by authorities or
others who wish to silence them (Acts
9:25).
8. Pray they will rejoice in suffering
(Acts 5:41).
9. Pray they will be refreshed through
God’s Word and grow in their faith
(Eph. 6:17).
10.Pray they will be strengthened
through the prayers of fellow
