Behind the Scenes at the Museums
100 hours Meetings planning events… reopening, Midsommarfest, Poulsbo
Boat Rendezvous/Liberty Bay Festival, capital campaign
75 hours Judy Driscoll’s Secretary of the Board work, Heffner project
Power Point, membership and donation letters
170 hours Inventory of archives, re-organized, obituaries filed and
updates, filing and artifact labeling. Judy, Hildur Gleason,
Mickey Albanese
89 hours Preservation -- Loading and labeling school attendance
documents for archival storage; clean and restring dolls,
devising wigs and clothing, inventory and preserve oversized
photos and magazines
Behind the Scenes at the Museums
1006 hours Accessioning – custody forms and deeds of gifts have been
checked, matched and stored; artifacts awaiting accessioning
were labeled, entered and boxed; entering and updating
accessions in Past Perfect
60 hours Researching homes and family histories – local and national
requests
172 hours Exhibit preparation and display, photo retrievals, taking down
displays and storing
106 hours Creation of (new) Heritage exhibit allocation, packing, project
management for the move
100 hours Past Perfect cloud set up and technology support

With COVID it was clear the need to move from face to face to virtual – PHS moved quickly!!Shifted from in-person outreach events to
solely online programming (with a mix of both now)
Grew our online following exponentially-Added an Instagram account to our online
presence (currently we have 334 Instagram followers)
Established PHS Aweigh- a segment of our www.poulsbohistory.com site that
focuses solely on education outreach and programming for kids and families alike

Held two separate online festivals- Midsommer Festival
and Poulsbo Boat Festival (which included videos, crafts
and activities, photos, and interactive Zoom sessions)
Grew our Facebook profile substantially
Follower base up by 251 people (this is the number of people who have liked and started following our page since January 2020), 221 specific page views (this is how many times someone specifically clicked on our Facebook page since January 2020), and a reach of 133,865 people since
January! (OMG!) This is how many people saw at least one
PHS post in 2020.

• In Love with Poulsbo- writing and art workshop for adults (2 attendees)
• Love is in the Air: Valentine Crafts 25 attendees

Paid the mortgage on the Maritime Museum. Both parcels
of property and the building at 19010 Front Street NE are
completely paid for!
