SUMMER OFFICE HOURS for Bartlett Baptist Kindergarten & Preschool

Our teachers’ last work day is Thursday, May 24th—the same as the students. We wish for them a well-deserved summer break. Enjoy your

families and get some rest!! Please be in prayer for each of our teachers as they continue their job search for their fall placement.

There will be NO summer hours for the school office. If anyone needs information about anything, please contact Ms. Laura Hassler,

Children’s Minister, for Bartlett Baptist Church at 901.333.3350. When you register your child at their new fall location, the new school will

send a form called “Request for Records” to the church. Take Ms. Laura’s information listed below to registration so you will forward the

Because she handles everything in the children’s ministry for the church, she is a very busy lady. Do NOT expect her

to be able to stop at the moment of your request to take care of your need/concern. You will need to give her some

time to get the information for you .N

The staff in the CHURCH office will NOT be able to provide any assistance with school matters.

End of Year Program & Kindergarten Graduation

Mark your calendars now for our Spring Program/Senior Kindergarten Graduation. There is no cost for the program and plenty of seating is available in the church sanctuary for everyone you want to invite. The program will begin at 9:00 am and should last about an hour . All students will be dismissed from their classrooms, for the day immediately following the Friday, May 18th program.

ORDER YOUR SPRING PROGRAM DVD

We will have a professional videographer here to record the happy occasion Friday, May 18th. You can pre-order yours for $15 starting May 4th. Order forms are located at the Welcome Desk in the school lobby. Paper clip your completed order form with your check or cash and place in large manila envelope provided. Please make your check out to BBPS or leave exact amount in cash. You may order these all the way thru May 18th. However, the program day is somewhat hectic and you will experience less stress if you pre-order. The DVDs will be ready for you to pick up about the middle of June from the church office. You will be contacted by email when they arrive so you can come by the office for pick up.

1) The full program in its entirety

2) The slideshow (with all students) that you watch while being

seated

3) Special Senior Kindergarten Video of all the exciting things

these graduates have done this school year.

INVITED: Everyone you want to invite is welcome.

VIDEO: A professional videographer will record the entire event. You may order your own copy of this DVD for $15 (each) beginning May 4th. DVD orders may also be placed the day of the program. GRADUATION GOWN: Coming home Monday, May 7th Iron on low setting, hang on non-returnable hanger, cover in clear plastic bag (provided), label with student’s name (label provided). GOWN RETURNED TO SCHOOL: No later than May 14th. You may send

them back any day between those dates.

ADDITIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY: In addition to the DVD that will be

professionally made you are welcome to take your own pictures during

our special “Kodak Moments” that will be provided at specific times

during the program and AFTER the ceremony.

In these last few weeks of school, let’s remind ourselves of

the following rules:

1) NO flip flops are to be worn to school.

2) Tennis shoes are preferred but sandals with back straps

are ok as long as no flipping.

3) ALL girls are to wear shorts underneath skirts and dresses at all times.

4) Classes BEGIN at 8:30! We are seeing too many tardies-we continue our work until

May 24th.

1. ALL students are dismissed from their classrooms immediately following

the May 18th program for the remainder of the day.

2. LAST day of school for ALL students is Thursday, May 24th.

teacher know if your child will NOT be participating so we can adjust our rehearsals accordingly.

Dear Parents,

I absolutely cannot believe this is the last newsletter of the school year. And my last newsletter EVER! for our precious school. It is amazing how quickly this year has just shot past us all. I think it is

true: when you are having fun, time moves even faster.

We have made many wonderful memories during these past few months that will last a life time. I just keep a smile on my face when I think of the many awesome experiences I have had the pleasure to

share with you and your precious children.

We have experienced painting, coloring, shapes, colors, numbers, manners, snacks, live animals, show & share, star of the week, fire, tornado, safety, & earthquake drills. We have had visits from local

dentists, eye doctors, policemen, and firemen along with their vehicles just to name a few of our activities.

I have to say that my personal favorite of the entire year remains the experience of the live nativity presented by the Senior Kindergarten at our Christmas Program. What a blessing!! The Senior

Kindergarten Graduation ceremonies promise to be special as well. I am so looking forward to the Spring Program and the Senior Kindergarten Graduation. Our May

18th program will prove to be awesome, emotional and full of

lifetime memories. Thanks again for allowing me the privilege of loving on your children this year.

NATIONAL TEACHER APPRECIATION DAY

was observed on Wednesday, May 2nd. We are very blessed to have teachers who not

only love the Lord but love your children dearly! Our teachers know that their reward

will be in eternity where the extent of their influence will be fully realized. Our

teachers were certainly honored by all the precious hand-made cards, the beautiful

flowers and all the other creative ways you made them feel special on this day. Thanks

for your support of each precious teacher.
