Lisa Wangman and Mike Cleeland presented a thorough history of the Phillip Island Landcare Group highlighting many of its amazing achievements. The evening also featured a new initiative announcing Phillip Island Landcare Group Life Members: Mike Cleeland, Bob and Anne Davie, Jim McFee, Ian McFee and Mick and Mary O’Keefe. Other life memberships have been given directly to members who were unable to make it on the night, Greg Price, Bett Robertson, David Plant & Gimi Stoppa. It was so good to see the many faces that have made up the history of the group. Seven of the past eleven presidents, Landcare staff, past and present members and family and friends who attended. Our group continues to support our local farmers through the Phillip Island Better Beef Farmers group. We are currently seeking input on their preferred activities for funding.
