The backpack X-ray

• Designed for screening in remote locations under challenging

conditions (e.g. high humidity, high temperatures, portable-use)

• Package consists off; X-ray generator (Mikasa, Japan), X-ray

generator stand, X-ray detector (Canon, Japan), X-ray detector

stand, workstation, software (Canon, Japan), charging system,

solar panel, 1 lead apron, backpack.

• Weight < 25 kg for complete system

• Carried in sturdy backpack

• Exposures: 200 per day

• Easy to assemble, setup takes around 10-15 minutes

• Implemented in: e.g. Eritrea, Zambia, Ghana, Thailand, Nigeria,

Uganda, Kiribati
