About HealthAsyst HealthAsyst helps its customers focus on their core business by providing software services. Leading ISVs, Medical Clearing Houses, Payment Solution Providers and Medical Device Manufacturers leverage our deep domain expertise, proven processes and technical skills to overcome challenges in Product engineering, Maintenance, Quality assurance, Mobile application development and Integration.

In a short span of 30 days, HealthAsyst ramped up a fairly large team with necessary technical and domain background. Working closely with the product owners, HealthAsyt’s team of experts devised a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) that not only met the current needs, but also provided a future path to migrate from the current legacy application to a more modern web-based platform with a simplified design. HealthAsyst team reverse-engineered requirement from the existing code base and a solution was built keeping in mind the need to support multiple mobile OS in future. HealthAsyst also built an automated test framework that reduced the testing effort by 50%. The solution was delivered with the desired scope before the annual conference.

The solution was showcased at the user conference and got the best reviews, exceeding customer expectations. The flexible charting, assessment, documentation and overall simplified design of the workflow, ensured wide adoption by the end-users. The application offered a 50% reduction in key strokes and optimized the workflows for the field-staff. This resulted in improved efficiency of the staff allowing them to focus on quality of care.

Customer had committed to make the application available at their user conference, within a year. Regulatory requirements and customer demands had diverted their existing team to focus on maintaining the legacy application. Developing for mobile platform also meant need for a new skillset, which the customer did not have. Further there was no possibility of scope reduction, as the solution would not find much use with limited scope.
