Approval of Minutes – 1 st Brian Henricksen, 2 nd Jason Bond IV. Open Issues a. Paramedic Academy Report (Cohort 8, 9) a. Cohort 8 – 16 out to clinical’s 1 dropped prior to ACLS 1 dropped for Contra Costa Fire 2 Completed Didactic, dropped for Oakland FD 4 dismissed from program due to not maintaining grade standard. b. Cohort 9 – 22 Started August 18 th 1. One dropped for Fire Dept. 2. Two currently on AP for over all quiz scores – under 80% b. Projects Working on: a. AHA Instructor pool ACLS before 10/20, PALS in Spring - Offered spots to NFD,AMR, ACFD to develop instructor pool b. NREMT PPCP – College funds for Simulation - VTEA funds for purchases. Looking at other sources of funds for the program c. EMS Programs Lab space update - three separate spaces in the 1800 building for scenario rooms V. New Business a. Advisory Board Openings – Mike Randolph stated that he will be stepping down as Chairperson and leaving the NVC EMS advisory board due to retirement, Mike Nominated Glen Weeks to replace him, Attending Board members agreed. Glen Accepted. Reaching out to Vacaville and Fairfield Fire Chiefs for board b. ACLS, PALS, HCPCPR, ITLS through Napa CPR

- Mike asked if there was resistance to grow Napa CPR, Discussed the need to show the college that the program will benefit the community and the providers if it was to grow. c. LEMSA EMT/Paramedic Course Fee’s - Brian Henricksen explained the LEMSA fee for oversight for EMT/Medic Programs. That the fee would be assessed at the time of renewal and that it was 4K for the EMT and 8K for the Medic, the College would receive a 50% reduction of these fees for being a community college. d. Move January meeting to 1/12/17 - Request was made to change the date of the next meeting to January 12 due to Winter Break. Attendee’s agreed.
