Unemployment Insurance Provisions

• Federal Additional Compensation. $25 Federal general revenue add-on to weekly benefit amounts:– States administer under agreements with the

Secretary which must be executed quickly after enactment.

– Operational guidance to states needed the week following enactment.

– New fiscal and reporting guidance required. – New Federal Additional Compensation

Account to be established by Treasury requiring interdepartmental MOU.
