A: Yes we have an employee collateral piece that you can send, that will help an employee understand the program.
Q: Is there a minimum deduction each week?
A: Yes it is 8 cents per pay. This is to ensure Common Cents givers receive a tax deductable receipt over $2.00 at the end of the financial year.
Q: What communication will Common Cents givers receive?
A: They will receive regular newsletters of how their donation is helping the lives of the SA community.
Q: Can Common Cents givers give more?
A: Yes. They can choose to give more than the cents in their pay. Each donor will need to inform your workplace in writing of the specified amount.
Q: Can Common Cents givers stop giving at any time?
A: Yes. They can stop their regular gift at anytime, they will simply need to inform your workplace in writing.

HOW COMMON CENTS WORKS
Managing a Common Cents program is very similar to managing a Social Club program.
Small proceeds of Net Pay are held in a specific
Finance Account and released at a specific time.

Our Mission is to empower and support the South Australian community through the provision of first aid response and social care.
We have 1,917 volunteers including cadets and junior officers.
ABOUT ST JOHN AMBULANCE SA What is St John SA’s Common Cents Program?• Anemployeecommittingthecentsfromeachoftheirpay
