T Levels are being introduced over four years, starting in September 2020. There are 25 T Levels across 11 routes.

Each route contains several occupational specialisms.

The first seven routes with occupational specialisms are:

Education and Childcare

Digital / IT

Health and Science

Legal, Finance and Accounting

Engineering and Manufacturing

Business and Administration

Decide which routes you could be interested in. It may be that you could offer placements in several routes. These could start with the route that links directly to your industry, but perhaps also include more widely-applicable routes like digital, business and administration, or legal, finance and accounting.

Then go to the page which lists the occupations in each route. Use the tables to decide:

The other four routes are Agriculture, Environmental and Production; Hair and Beauty; Catering; and Creative and Design. Their occupational specialisms have not yet been announced but you can offer industry placements in them.
