Levels 3 and UpJacksonville 2-Week Senior Summer IntensiveBy audition only. The program in Jacksonville in partnership with Florida Ballet offers students small class sizes and an opportu-nity to intensely focus on their technique training. Classes will be held at downtown’s Florida Ballet Training Center as well as LaVilla School of the Arts. Families are invited to observe classes on the final day of the program. Boarding students are housed at the University of North Florida. Optional outings will be offered on June 16 and 17 for an additional fee. Ages 8+, Levels 1-2Summer SessionKeep your child dancing throughout the summer. Classes are available for Orlando Ballet School students to continue their ballet education and for new students to develop and discover a love for ballet. New students are required to schedule a placement class to determine level place-ment. Placement classes may be scheduled by calling the OBS campus your student wishes to attend. TUITION: TBD

Orlando Senior 5-Week Summer IntensiveBy audition only. The focus of the program is on ballet technique training, but all students also participate in the showcase perfor-mance at the end of the summer, and advanced students have the opportunity to perform for the public. Classes are held at our main campus, as well as our South campus and the Loch Haven Neighborhood Center (Orlando Ballet’s company rehearsal space). All of our studios feature Harlequin sprung floors. Grades 6-8Art Through the DecadesTravel through time and discover the different movements of art from the latter half of the 20th century. Focus on a different time period each day beginning with the Abstract Expressionists of the 1950s and ending the week with contemporary artists practicing today. Grades 1-2Crazed for ClayThere is nothing like hand-building in clay to develop fine-motor skills. Be inspired by ceramics of Africa and the Americas to create vessels, sculpture, jewelry and more using pinch, coil, model and slab methods. Learn to burnish and glaze finished pieces, which will be kiln-fired. $5 firing fee. TUITION: $220 Members, $240 Non-Members

Grades 3-5It’s All About MeExplore a variety of art forms and mediums as you create art with YOU as the subject. Grades 6-8Animation NationBecome a director, editor, cinematographer and creative collaborator, all while working with other like-minded students, to create your own stop motion film. Dive into the history of animation, the different types of animation, the elements needed to create an animation and the process of animating. Grades 3-5Art Meets ScienceWhat happens when you mix vinegar, baking soda and tempera paint? You’ll find out in this camp. Create artful experiments, predict outcomes, and test ideas.
