The property features spacious conference facilities which seat up to 2,600 delegates, and a Casino boasting 465 slot machines and 23 live gaming tables including Roulette, Blackjack, Poker and Baccarat. Situated in a large private estate alongside the Vaal River, the resort offers a unique mix of luxury accommodation in the Emerald Hotel, Bush Lodges and the convenient River Resort, enabling customers to relax in the tranquil surroundings whilst taking advantage of the continually buzzing, high energy casino.

TCSJOHNHUXLEY has worked closely with Emerald Resort & Casino for almost 19 years, supplying in that time a variety of live gaming equipment including, Saturn™ Roulette Wheels, displays, Omni Baccarat Kits, Fournier playing cards, value chips, layouts, Chipper Champ’s and progressives.

With the refurbishment being tackled in a phased approach TCSJOHNHUXLEY first carried out an overhaul of the main gaming floor, by installing new tables which feature the emblazoned LED lit Emerald logo. The eye-catching tables provide a pop of exciting colour on the gaming floor giving players a unique first impression of the casino when they enter the main gaming area whilst also showcasing the Emerald Resort & Casino brand.

TCSJOHNHUXLEY installed four progressive Blackjack and two Progressive Poker tables which featured new card games, Jewel Jackpot and Raise Em’ Poker Plus, alongside one non-progressive Blackjack table. To accompany the vibrant green LED lit table fronts each layout also features vibrant blues and greens to match the Emerald Resort & Casino’s branding. The tables themselves are finished with dark Fishskin hand stitched vinyl armrests and Night Sky drinks holders with chrome detailing.

When the Emerald Resort & Casino decided to reinvigorate the casino floor and Privé area by replacing their tables, TCSJOHHUXLEY was delighted to be chosen to be part of the exciting project. The brief from Emerald was to create a unique style throughout the casino which would help them stand out from the crowd, this allowed TCSJOHNHUXLEY to draw on their creative flare and live table gaming expertise to meet the casinos requirements.

The Brief

For the second stage of the refurbishment, TCSJOHNHUXLEY was tasked with adding a touch of unique opulence to the casino’s Privé. TCSJOHNHUXLEY pulled out all the stops to deliver the glamour and exclusivity that the customer desired, using deep buttoned leatherette to create burlesque style gaming tables.

Featuring dark grey leatherette upholstered bases with light grey armrests, Night Sky drinks rails and wheel platforms with brass finishes, each of the exquisitely designed and manufactured tables help to create a unique and sumptuous atmosphere in the Prive. Each of the three Roulette, three Blackjack and one Punto Banco tables are topped off with alluring burgundy layouts which add to the burlesque styling.
