The small charity that does big things

Vital equipment We need YOU

Epsom Medical Equipment Fund is a small, independent charity set up to help buy equipment for Epsom General Hospital.

We buy vital pieces of medical equipment, such as the very latest in high-tech cancer scanners and endoscopes.

So far we have raised over 4 million pounds

This equipment could save your relative, friend – or even you

Dr. Julian Eyears, Occupational Health Physician ExxonMobil presenting a Trans-vaginal transducer to Christine Chapman Superintendent Sonographer Radiology Department.

Epsom General Hospital Catchment Area.

The charity was founded in June 1980 by Bess Harding, MBE. Working with only a tiny band of volunteers, she has achieved incredible results, thanks to the generosity of people and businesses in the area. Some support the fund by making cash or cheque donations, some by attending our events or by buying goods on sale at our room in the hospital.

Of course, we can never be complacent. Equipment needs to be regularly updated to make sure the hospital keeps pace with the rapid changes in medical technology so we will always need your help.

If you would like to make a donation Please send it to:Epsom Medical Equipment Fund32 Tealing Drive, Ewell, Surrey, KT19 0JS

We are grateful for all support – 30p for one of our recycled cards, a 50p donation... it all adds up! Some supporters are hospital patients and visitors, others are people living and working in the area. Some make donations in appreciation of the care they have received at the hospital or in memory of a loved one who was treated there.

Our charity depends entirely on your support. Sometimes business kindly donate several thousand pounds. The rest has to be raised one pound at time. You can make regular donations via our website.

Even a few pence can make all the difference
