Steps Challenge

The Integrity 30 Day Challenge consists of a different challenge each day for 30 days. Theactivities range from simple things to achieve through to more challenging activities, actionsor behavioural changes. The challenge can be run company wide or broken up into varioussections or divisions.

Each person takes full responsibility to complete the tasks or activities and marks them off asand when they are done, hence the name The “Integrity” 30 Day Challenge. Cooking demonstrations are an informal and delicious way of providing education abouthealthy eating and illustrating how easy and exciting eating well can be. This includes a 1hour cooking demonstration showing 3 nutritious recipes of which the attendees will each begiven generous tastings; and resources in the form of fact sheets and copies of thedemonstrated recipes for everyone to try at home!

Our clientswho have given their staff access to these consults have all noted a fast trackedimprovement in their staffs health, energy levels and ability to cope with day to daystresses.

Meal plans can also be arranged at an additional cost per person for those whorequire or need to make necessary dietary changes.

Body Composition ScannerBio Impedance is the use of electrical currents that are transferred through the body byelectrolytes (sodium, chloride, potassium and bicarbonate) in fat free mass which has greaterelectrical conductivity than fat mass. This difference in conductivity allows for a veryaccurateand scientific way of analysing your body composition, providing users with a detailed reporton:

These metrics, one of which is visceral fat will identify increased risk of heart disease,hypertension, diabetes as well as osteoporosis and oedema.

Each staff member will receive their own personal report detailing their scan results and willgo through this with the consultant will discuss their results during a one on one consultation..

Sessions can be booked in conjunction with a nutritionist to ensure individual goals andobjectives are reached; whether it is muscle gain, weight loss or weight gain. This is a greatstart to any program to help individuals maximise their physical health status.

Health Assessments provide companies with a structured overview of their organisationshealth status. This sets a benchmark for the beginning of any wellness program or even ifyou just want to know where your organisation sits in terms of potential health risks. Thehealth assessments can include Body Composition Scanning, Blood Testing (glucose &cholesterol ) and Blood Pressure testing.

The 'health score' generated from the scan can be used as a Key Physical Indicator (KPI). Acertain fitness level is often required to be able to perform specific roles, without causinginjury to one's self. Likewise roles can bring with them weight restrictions, which if notmaintained can affect performance capabilities.

This health assessment will provide companies with a de-identified overview of your staffand their current health status, enabling you to identify potential risk areas and from thereimplement the necessary changes.

Bowel cancer is an extremely serious cancer and is diagnosed in over 12,500 Australiansevery year. It mostly affects people 50 years of age and over, but is becoming a growingconcern for younger people. It is a serious disease, but if bowel cancer or its precursors(polyps) are diagnosed early, it is often curable.

Due to the nature of this disease people avoid talking about it and put off getting testedwhichis costing them their lives. With this in mind our team at Embodied Health feels this is a veryimportant topic that deserves a place in any health and wellbeing program.

Each participant can purchase a take home testing kit, which includes postage to BowelCancer Australia for testing and the results are sent to the individuals nominated GP.

We have a great online booking system so none of your staffs time will be interruptedorganising the booking schedule and all vaccines are completed at your workplace by aregistered nurse.

Posture MedicThese are resistance based apparatuses that can be kept on site and hired out to staff toimprove their posture white they are sitting at their desks. Available in a variety of sizes andat an affordable rate, these are a valued extra to offer staff.

Functional Capacity AssessmentConduction of this assessment will assess the worker’s functional capacity toperform their duties. Your dedicated workplace rehabilitation specialist willobjectively measure and report on an injured worker’s physical abilities andlimitations. This assessment is utilised when a specific job or duties have beenidentified and clarification of the injured worker’s physical ability to undertake theidentified job is required.

Job Demands AssessmentHere we identify the full range of demands of a specific job, e.g. physical, sensoryand psychological demands. This can assist a medical practitioner in understandingthe full range of requirements of particular jobs. It is important the medicalpractitioner understands the job requirements so they can provide appropriatemedical clearance and assist setting realistic vocational goals.

Workplace and Ergonomic AssessmentOur qualified practitioners will conduct onsite assessments of your workplace as awhole or as a part of an individual employee’s role. This could be as a part of apreventative strategy through Ergonomic assessments, assessing workstations andthe functionality of individual’s roles. Alternatively it could be used toaccommodate an injured worker’s return to work through workplace modificationsand/or job redesign, creating a safe return to work environment.

• Fatigue Accident Causation Tool (2 hours): Finally, a tool to enable practitioners tobe better enabled to determine if fatigue has been a contributing factor in accidents. Thetool has mitigating controls for each fatigue factor identified.

Fatigue Risk Management AuditsAssessment of rosters & shifts to determine risk associated with work at your site. Site and/orcamp visits to establish if fatigue controls are in place and working. Presented by a financial planner these ‘Lunch & Learn’ seminars are designed to beinformative and interactive for staff to be able to engage and learn from years of industryexperience.

45-60 minutes/sessions with a max of 20-25 people/session

Topics:• Investments and strategic asset allocation• Budget and cash flow management• Debt management (including borrowing for personal and investment purposes)• Salary packaging• Superannuation strategies and retirement planning• Personal insurance

These are a 20 minute consultation with a money coach working with you on your cash flowmanagement. They will be able to provide you with helpful tips on how to better manageyour accounts, create an effective savings plan and effectively manage your mortgage. Thisis a no obligation consultation, if at the end of the session you wish to take up additionalservices that is the individual’s decision and at their own cost.

Men's HealthMen's Health has become a key focus area for many organisations and communitygroups alike, through events such as Movember and Men's Health Week we areslowly changing social norms and raising awareness around this increasinglyimportant health issue.

Men are likely to live 4.5 years less than women as they are dying prematurely fromhigh risk taking, accidents, heart disease, suicide, poor lifestyle and diet choices andviolence. These are all preventable areas that can be managed with the right toolsand professional help. These programs are designed to again raise awareness andencourage men to seek assistance when dealing with health issues.

SeminarsThe areas covered in this talk will include men's health in general along with howstress and lifestyle choices can impact on happiness and longevity. It will outlinepositive actions that men can undertake in order to gain control of their health andtherefore contribute more effectively and efficiently to the workplace, their home lifeand their personal well-being. This seminar is delivered in such a way that isengaging, non-threatening and in an informative manner. The supportingdocumentation will be given to them on arrival and referred to during the sessionwhere appropriate. This includes materials on various men's cancers, early detection,possible warning signs and the need for self-examinations. It also includes brochureson mental health, physical health and relationships.

Where appropriate FIFO lifestyles will be an area of discussion also referring tovarious scenarios, coping mechanisms they use – both healthy and unhealthy,support networks and resources available for themselves, their families and lovedones.

This is not a statistical based presentation, rather an engaging talk that encouragesinput from the guys. The talk flows as the discussions unfold ensuring any pressingissues or concerns are discussed and addressed.

Men's Healthy BBQMost men will groan when they hear "Healthy" & "BBQ" put together, but you will bepleasantly surprised how simple and very tasty this option is. This is an informalcooking demonstration aimed at men and their health. The qualified nutritionist willexplain how adding things to the meat can almost turn you into a master Barbequer.

Women's HealthEmbodied Health is able to deliver you a range of women’s health topics through lunch andlearn seminars. We will provide your staff with direction and assistance with family refugeand domestic violence issues. These presentations will be delivered by women with tertiaryqualifications in their field relevant to the topic.

• Working Women and Stress – looking after our mental health is just as important asour physical health. How to achieve that work/life balance with all the stresses that weencounter.

• Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression and other Mental Health Issues – improve yourunderstanding of these areas so that you can manage yourself and others.

• MMM; Mindfulness, Movement and Munching - 3 easy ways to improve your health

• Alcohol and Other Drugs – the impact on our society and workplace, how do we bestmanage these habits or assist high risk family members.

• Gender Matters – addressing gender norms and stereotypes in the workforce, is yourworkplace gender blind or gender transformative?

• Domestic Violence – strategies for employers to assist women within the workplacethat may be experiencing domestic violence.

Health FairsHealth fairs are a wonderful way to create some excitement in the office and gain buy in fromthe staff. The health fairs can range in size, duration and events depending on the desiredoutcome. Embodied Health is very experienced in delivering and managing all aspects of thehealth fair. Some options may include:

• Individual consultations stations: Health Coaches, Naturopaths, Nurses, Nutritionists,Posture Checks, Reflexology and Body scanning

• Vendor stations: Various food products, teas, supplements, meal replacements, gymsmoothies
