    The DLP-RF1 and DLP-RF2 OEM Modules are short-range, low-power, 2.4GHz, unlicensed worldwide ISM band transceivers designed around the IEEE 802.15.4 Wireless Standard. Both support point-to-point and star network configuration using preprogrammed firmware.

    The DLP-RF1 combines a USB interface, Freescale MC13192 2.4GHz Direct-Sequence Spread Spectrum RF Transceiver IC and Freescale MC9S08GT60 microcontroller to form an IEEE 802.15.4 compliant, ZigBee ready, short-range transceiver module.

    The MC9S08GT60 microcontroller is preprogrammed with DLP Designs Serial Interface Packet Processor (SIPP firmware) for accessing the transceiver functions via simple serial calls. The application programming required for accessing the module via USB is functionally identical to that used to access the RS232C ports on a standard Windows/Linux/Mac PC via the use of royalty-free Virtual COM Port (VCP) drivers. (No USB driver development is required for most applications.) The SIPP firmware in the DLP-RF1 resides at the application layer and is based on Freescales SMAC. The SIPP firmware provides basic access to DLP-RF1 functionality: packet receive and transmit, transceiver settings, EEPROM access, etc.

    The DLP-RF2 combines a Freescale MC13192 2.4GHz Direct-Sequence, Spread-Spectrum RF Transceiver IC and Freescale MC9S08GT60 microcontroller to form an IEEE 802.15.4 compliant, ZigBee ready, short-range transceiver module. The DLP-RF2 connects to user electronics via a standard, 20-pin male header.

    The MC9S08GT60 microcontroller is preprogrammed with DLP Designs Serial Interface Packet Processor(SIPP firmware) for accessing the transceiver functions via simple serial calls. Interface to an external serialhost microcontroller/DSP/FPGA, etc. is accomplished via a simple 2-wire (RX, TX, and ground) interface.

    DLP 802.15.4/ZIGBEE REaDy MODULES

    The DLP-RFID1 is a low-cost, USB-powered module for reading from and writing to ISO 15693, ISO 18000-3, and Tag-it intelligent RFID transponder tags. It has the ability to both read and write up to 256 bytes of data in addition to reading the unique identifier (UID/SID). All of the DLP-RFID1s electronics and antenna reside within the compact unit, and all operational power is taken from the host PC via the USB interface. The range of the internal antenna is up to 4 inches depending upon the size of the tag being read.

    The DLP-RFID-UHF1B is a low-cost, USB-powered module from reading form and writing to ISO 18000-6a, -6b and -6c intelli gent RFID transponder tags. It has the ability to both read and write data in addition to reading the unique indentifier (UID). All of the DLP-RFID-UHF1B's electronics reside within the compact unit, and all operational power is taken from the host PC via the USB interface.

    The DLP-RFID-LP8C is a low-cost, USB-powered module for reading from and writing to ISO 15693, ISO 18000-3 and Tag-it intelligent RFID transponder tags via up to eight external antennas. It has the ability to both read and write up to 256 bytes of data in addition to reading the unique identifier (UID/SID). All of the DLP-RFID-LP8Cs electronics reside on a single, compact PCB; and all operational power is taken from the host Windows/Windows CE/Linux PC via the USB interface. Up to eight external antennas can be connected via standard SMA connectors.

    Laird Technologies fifth generation 2.4GHz FHSS module sets the standard for industrial RF communication. Based on proprietary FlexRF technology, this globally-accepted module will exceed most OEM application and performance requirements. Embedded with Laird Technologies robust server-client protocol, the LT2510 permits an unlimited number of clients to synchronize to a single server for low latency communications. The server and all clients in a network can communicate with any radio in range via either addressed or broadcast packets. The configuration and test software allows OEMs to design and test networks to suit their applications. Enhanced API commands provide packet routing control and network intelligence. With its field-proven FHSS air interface protocol, the LT2510 rejects RF noise, excels in multipath scenarios, allows for co-located systems, and provides an extremely reliable communication link. It also provides a more robust, but simpler, link than ZigBee for RF applications that do not require a mesh topology. With a throughput of up to 250Kb/s in half-duplex mode, LT2510 delivers speedy data rates. In addition, variable output power options (up to +21dBm) enable communication over distances that arent achievable with competing technologies. At the same time, a range of ultra-low power modes plus low Tx/Rx power consumption make the LT2510 ideal for power-restrictive or battery-operated applications. The mini SMT package is well-suited for space-constrained designs and is available in pick-and-place packaging for volume manufacturing.

    Lairds Bluetooth embedded modules are designed with compatibility in mind. Lairds Bluetooth Intelligent Serial technology. The pin configuration and physical dimensions of both the Wireless Module (BISM) are the same giving you the choice of wireless.

    The development board allows the Laird Bluetooth or Wireless W-LAN Module to be connected to a PC.     WLM400 High-Performance 802.11b/g Module delivers performance to embedded designers requiring the high data rates available from WiFi networks. The only embedded wireless LAN module providing this level of performance, the WLM400/WLM402 is designed to make wireless integration simple with its ultimate thoroughput, low-power consumption, and ease of use. Based on the Marvell 8686 Wi-Fi chipset, the additional application processor includes a robust, industrial grade TCP/IP stack and driver implementation to save months of embedded firmware development.
