Player ShowcaseThe player showcase is an excellent opportunity for players to demonstrate their skills

to college coaches throughout Massachusetts and surrounding states.

Guidelines - Each session will be limited to 100 players - Eligible to every 2019 graduate that are currently

rostered on the American Legion Baseball Senior Teamand are actively trying to play baseball at the college level.

- Each player will be put through a series of drills and workouts for the college scouts and coaches to see.

- Each pitcher will throw at least 10-15 pitches off a mound.

- Each player will receive a hat and an All Star T-Shirtwith the American Legion logo and All Star game date.

All Star TournamentThe All Star tournament will highlight the best players from each district, playing to be

crowned the best district in the state.Date: Saturday August 4th - Rules: State Tournament Rules

Team Selection:1. Each District Chairman will submit a team of the top 16 position players and 5-9 pitchers out ofall 2019 graduates in their District. Players double rostered on an American Legion Team and clubteam, such as AAU, are not eligible for participation.2. The players should be the best players in the district and are actively trying to play baseball atthe collegiate level. When composing the team, the District Chairman should also consider eachposition and should make the best effort to not have players play a position they are not used to.3. Each player will be guaranteed 3-4 innings. Each pitcher will pitch at least one inning and willhave the opportunity to play in the field if they play a secondary position.4. Each District Chairman will make the coaches packet for his team, including rosters.5. Each player will be given an All Star shirt and hat to be worn during the tournament. The hatswill be eight different colors to determine the district. Each player must wear white pants.6. All Star plaques will be awarded to the winning team. A perennial trophy will be awarded to thewinning District Chairman.
