• To be considered a JCC Member and receive member rates, you must have a JCC Family Membership or a Single Parent Family Membership for 12 consecutive months (including the months of June, July and August 2015).

DEPOSIT• $250 Deposit Per Child• No Registration Fee

PAYMENTS• All camp fees must be paid in full by Friday, May 1, 2015.• A Payment Authorization Form must be filled out, signed and returned along with the registration form and deposit.

• Enrollment after May 1 must be paid in full at time of registration.

FLEX SCHEDULING• The camp program operates on two-week intervals. • A minimum of two weeks is required to register• You may add on additional weeks of camp. (Providing there is space)

• One week registration available based on availability

CHANGE, REFUND AND CANCELLATIONPOLICIES1. All refund and cancellation requests must be

made in writing and given to the Camp Office prior to June 12th.

2. Prior to May 1st, if you need to cancel any week(s) of camp but not camp in its entirety there will be a $100 cancellation fee per child. If you cancel camp in its entirety there will be a $250 cancellation fee per child.

3. Between May 1st and June 12th any full or partial cancellations will be charged a $250 cancellation fee per child.

4. All Camp fees are NON REFUNDABLE after June 12th, including, but not limited to absences, withdrawals and inclement weather.

5. Changes: All camp week changes or camp unit changes must be submitted in writing and are subject to a $20 change fee. Changes are made according to availability in each camp unit.

6. Dismissal: The Camp Director reserves the right to terminate or suspend any camper/LIT or deny his/her participation in any activity including off- campus fieldtrips, if his/her mental condition, conduct, influence or behavior is deemed unsatisfactory and not in the best interest of the camp. NO REFUNDS will be given if a camper/LIT is asked to leave.

TEENOKE AND K’TANIM Two experienced teachers lead eachTEENOKE AND K’TANIM camp group. Together they create anenvironment specifically designed to promote socialization, language development and creativity for our youngestcampers. TEENOKE and K’TANIM CAMPERS DO NOT NEED TO BE TOILET TRAINED.CHAVERIM provides a secure and nurturing introduction to camp. MACCABI SPORTS CAMP is an in-depth, state-of-the-art athletic experience designedfor boys and girls. Under the guidance of our certified, professional staff, campers participate in a wide variety ofsports using the Alper JCC’s outstanding facilities. Campers are grouped according to age and participate in activities with their bunkmates.

ROBOTICSEntering 1st – 5th grades / June 15th – June 26th

Campers are engaged through science, engineering, technology,creativity, imagination and design, learning to prepare for thefuture. Campers build their own LEGO robots and then use acomputer to program instructions for the robot to accomplish apre-determined mission.

DBP Robotics’ program offers hands-on project-based learningapproach to teaching STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

NEW TEEN TOUR: GO WEST!2nd Session • 3 weeks / July 14 – August 4 • 7th – 9th grades

JCC TEEN TOUR Partnering with the Katz JCC in Margate, NJ, Our NEWTeen Tour program will take travel to a whole new level with overnightscovering the best of the west. Campers will travel in a charter bus,stay at JCCs, college dorms and campsites. This teenTour will visit amazing cultural and fun-filled locations while ‘on theroad.’

HABIMAH PERFORMING ARTS campers expand their horizons and artisticpotential in dance, drama, art and music. Campers are immersed in a high-level, 4-week production schedule filledwith rehearsals and set design. At the end of each camp session, a musical performance is held in the magnificentRobert Russell Theater. Habimah campers travel on several field trips throughout the summer and participate in manyJCC camp special events, including late nights. In addition to the arts, campers participate in fitness activities, aninstructional water games program and an expanded Hobby Hour program including Hip-Hop, cheerleading, skitmaking, and jazz.

FEE ADJUSTMENTThe Dave and Mary Alper JCC attempts to keep fees aslow as possible in order to allow communityparticipation in our programs. However, anyonewishing to apply for financial aid must be an Alper JCCMember and submit a fee adjustment application byMarch 15, 2014 to the Membership Office. All inquiriesand applications are kept in the strictest of confidence.• Applications may be obtained by calling 305.271.9000 x262.

• Applications are not complete and will not be evaluated without a copy of your 2014 tax return.

• Camp deposits must be made in full before applying for financial aid.

• Scholarship funds are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

• If the fee adjustment awarded is not sufficient and the enrollment is withdrawn, all deposits will be credited to your account, except for a $25 processing fee. FEES• Camp prices and fees are subject to change. • If you took advantage of our Early Bird Registration, you received an additional 5% discount on your Camp Fees! Please contact Jacque Covas at 305.271.9000 x270 with questions.MEDICAL FORMSNo camper will be allowed to begin camp withoutcomplete medical forms as required by the Departmentof Children and Families (formerly HRS). These formsinclude the Student Health Form (HRS-H FORM 3040) andthe Florida Certificate of Immunization (HRS 680 PART A).Both of these forms are approved by the Department ofChildren and Families and available through yourpediatrician’s office.

ILLNESS / LICEIf your child is ill, please exercise good judgment whensending him/her to camp. Children evaluated to be ill by thenurse will be sent home. Regarding head lice, the JCC has a“NIT FREE” policy. If lice or nits are found in your child’shead, he/she will be sent home and will not be permitted toreturn to camp for 24 hours. Upon the camper’s return,he/she must be checked by the camp nurse. LUNCHESCampers must bring their own lunches daily, clearlymarked with the camper’s name. The Alper JCC providesnon-dairy drinks and snacks. An optional Kosher lunchprogram is available for purchase through the Nosh Bar.Further information will be made available before campbegins. EARLY CARE & LATE CAREEarly Care: 7:30 – 9am located in ECD Building #2 Late Care: 4 – 6pm • In ECD Building #2 for campers in1st grade and younger • In Y & A Building #5 for 2nd grade and older. Closespromptly at 6pm. There is an additional fee for thisservice. Early and Late Care are not available forTikvah/Inclusion campers.

CAMP TIKVAH offers an exceptionalcamping experience with programs specifically designedfor individuals who have cognitive disabilities. Astimulating environment with hands-on activities iscreated for each camper, with the goal of instillingconfidence, developing social and life skills, increasingattention span and improving fine and gross motorabilities. Campers participate in general camp activitieson an individual basis, where appropriate. Yearlyevaluation required for new and returning campers.

INCLUSION PROGRAMHigh-functioning special needs campers in grades K – 9 have an inclusion counselor to guide themthroughout the day and are a part of a general camp bunk.Eligibility screening is required. Fees are the same asCamp Tikvah. Tsofim and Rishonim inclusion campers add$50 per week to camp fee.

HADRACHA LITs work with campers3 days per week, travel on field trips and develop skillsin leadership and team building. 80 Community Servicehours are awarded for each 4-week session. Aninterview is required for admission in to the LITprogram. Space is VERY limited and camp options areavailable if not admitted into the LIT program.

MADRICH CITs assist in camp groupsand learn hands on skills as well as knowledge gained inleadership training sessions. A $100 stipend is given and160 Community Service hours are awarded for each 4-week session. An interview is required for admissioninto the CIT program. Please contact Lene Saeger x 271to schedule an interview. CIT staff requirement: work 1stsession, 2nd session or all 8 weeks. Priority to those whocommit to 8 weeks.

Camp Group Requests Each camper is assigned to a bunk. We make every

effort to honor bunk requests. Only two requests will beaccepted and they must be reciprocal.

The requests must be age appropriate, attending the same camp, and both families, as well as the Camp

Director, must agree on each request.

All campers including LIT's being dropped off at the JCC before 8:45am or picked up after 4:00pm MUST beenrolled in AM or PM care. No camper will be allowed to roam or be unsupervised before or after camp.

This is anamazing experience for campers, staff and thefamilies who host these individuals. The JCC islooking for families to open their homes to hostone of these Shlichim. This is an amazingopportunity to create lifelong friendships andgrow closer to Israel.
