Residential Structure Fire with Exposures Two Single Family Homes Damaged 5/2/13 2230 Sarah Ct, Pinole E273, E9, E69, E72, E79A, Q76, BC7, BC71, TC10, and 1145 responded for a residential structure fire with an explosion. PPD arrived and reported a gas main was involved. E273 arrived and found the side yards between 2230 and 2220 Sarah Ct was heavily involved with fire. Fencing and a storage shed at 2230 were on fire and being fed by one open residential gas service line. Fire was also extending into both houses. E273 established Sarah IC, pulled both pre-‐connects (1 3/4" structure line and 1 1/2" wildland line) and established a continuous water supply. E273 knocked down the exterior fire and kept cooling the gas line area. Gas lines were then shut off. E69 and Q76 performed primary searches of both residences. Q76 took an additional 1 3/4" line from the Quint and deployed it from E273. Fire had extended into the attic of 2220 Sarah and the garage of 2230 Sarah.
