Fans will be able to greet and take their photos with him in HeadHouse Plaza prior to kickoff, and he will also appear on the field for the National Anthem and at different times throughout each game. Noah will also make special appearances throughout the year at various Eagles events, in addition to the appearances he already makes as one of the Zoo’s “Educational Ambassadors.” “We are always seeking new ways to enhance the overall fan experience at Lincoln Financial Field. Noah has been very popular with our fans and we are looking forward to having him appear at all of our home games this season,” said Brian Papson, Eagles Vice President of Marketing. “We are excited to be working with the Elmwood Park Zoo to have Noah incorporated into a variety of other Eagles events throughout the year that will also help raise awareness for their unique conservation program.” Noah is a 13-year-old bald eagle that is in the possession of the Elmwood Park Zoo by the authority of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. At just 8 weeks old he suffered an 80 ft fall that left him with permanent brain and eye injuries. He spent several years in a rehabilitation facility before arriving at the Elmwood Park Zoo in 2008. He currently serves as one of the Zoo’s “Educational Ambassadors” by participating in programs that teach the importance of wildlife conservation. “We are incredibly excited to enter into this partnership with the Eagles, an organization that has made ‘green’ initiatives a priority,” said Al Zone, Elmwood Park Zoo Executive Director & CEO. “Noah’s presence at the games will give our Zoo unprecedented exposure and allow us to reach a massive audience with our message of conservation.” Media note: Noah is not the same as “Challenger,” who fans and media may be familiar with as the bald eagle who occasionally performs for the team by flying into the stadium during the National Anthem. About ELMWOOD PARK ZOO Elmwood Park Zoo is a non-profit organization with the expressed mission to foster an appreciation for wildlife and the environment that will inspire active participation in conservation.
