Dear Bellevue West FBLA:

Thank you for a great year in Future Business Leaders of America. The Lead-ership Team enjoyed connecting with all members and helping everyone achieve goals. This year has been filled with much growth and development. We hope our work in leading this organization has helped you as a member. This year we focused on four main goals: • Complete community service and partner with local organizations • Maintain high numbers of active members • Create opportunities for career and leadership exploration • Achieve success at state and national competitions

We are proud that each of these goals were achieved due to hard work and dedication. We have over 250 hours of community service by participating in activities such as Adopt-a-Road, March for Babies Walk and a community dog wash. We are proud of the money we raised for community organiza-tions, specifically $700 for the Bellevue Police Department Canine Unit and $435 for March of Dimes. We also partnered with multiple small business-es in Bellevue including Uptown Bakery and Twin Creek Animal Hospital while helping promote their businesses throughout the community. Career exploration was a large part of our chapter. Allowing members to have op-portunities to run the school store, work with our business partners, listen to guest speakers and participate in leadership conferences helped them experience and learn more about careers they are interested in.

This chapter has continued to have a strong, active membership, currently at 79 members. Members have been given the opportunity to learn man-agement and customer service skills by working The Bird House, our school store. In addition, our success at conferences was at an all time high. At the 2017 State Leadership Conference we had the most successful year of Bel-levue West FBLA’s history. There were 34 top eight awards, which included 19 national qualifiers. At the National Leadership Conference, in Anaheim our chapter had three events in which we placed second, seventh and tenth. This is a reflection of your hard work.

Our accomplishments this year make us proud to be the leaders of such an amazing group of students. Again, thank you Bellevue West FBLA for mak-ing this year a success.

Sincerely,

Chapter President
