HIGH THREAT VEHICLE ENGAGEMENTS IS A FAST-PACED, MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY CHALLENGING COURSE THAT WILL BRING STUDENTS TO A HIGHER LEVEL OF SAFETY AND PERFORMANCE WHEN DEALING WITH THREATS IN A VEHICLE-BASED ENVIRONMENT. .

COURSE DETAILS

High Threat Vehicle Engagements™ is an intermediate to advanced course in responding to close range, high threat incidents in, through, and around vehicles that is based on high probability or high-risk real world incidents and the study of human survival behavior under duress. Students will learn how to mitigate incidents not covered in conventional academy and in-service training and will build an intuitive understanding of the dynamics of fighting around vehicles and real world vehicle ballistics. Drills will incorporate: threat recognition; officer safety and readiness procedures that reduce the chance and effect of criminal assault; non-traditional shooting positions; dynamic maneuver out of and around vehicles; single and multiple officer live fire drills; and force-on-force exercises.

4 Days | Instructor | Handgun, Rifle & Low-Light Application Eligibility: Students must possess recognized instructor certification in firearms or CQB with advanced handgun and carbine experience.

3 Days | End User Advanced | Handgun, Rifle & Low-Light Application Eligibility: Students must possess an intermediate to advanced level of handgun and carbine experience to include low-light shooting familiarization.

2 Days | End User Intermediate | Handgun Only Eligibility: Students must possess an intermediate to advanced level of handgun experience.
