EXPERIENCE: Travelport| Software Engineering Intern May 2015 – August 2015 ■ Served as site leader for 10 interns in Atlanta as well as 20 others stationed in Denver and Kansas City

■ Gained exposure to Visual C# (TDE application) along with VB.NET/ASP.NET and DB2/SSRS ■ Participated in a mentorship program with various members of the senior leadership team ■ Presented a collaborative final presentation to several SLT executives ■ Received commendation by the SLT executives for participating in projects that were meaningful to the business

PROJECTS:

Gen-A-Race| Android app ■ Collaborative senior project in which my team made a racing app which generates a “fence” of checkpoints around your current location. Once you pass through the series of checkpoints, you win the game. ■ Used Firebase by Google for storing our location data based on generated UUIDs assigned to each user. Additionally, I helped created a login for new and existing users which used Android’s material design for the UI.

Grizzly Colors| Android app

■ Application created for Mobile app dev class which has four RGBA sliders with a text box underneath that changes colors based on the position of the sliders. ■ Text box displays the hexadecimal value of the color while the background is contrasted with the color of the text to keep it visible.

■ Outstanding RSO Collaborative Program of the Year award ■ Best Leadership Corps award (TAP) ■ Beyond award (Travelport): for exhibiting leadership among my peers ■ Won first prize in a team “Ambassador Idol” competition at Google Student Ambassador Summit ■ National Engaged Leader Award [one of 24 (from field of 10,000) to receive this award] ■ Certificate of achievement for the Technology Ambassador’s Program (TAP)
