Objective

The goal of our project is to design an

efficient elevator that can accept input from a user and mechanically operate (on a small scale) a system of 3 floors and 1 elevator using pulleys and simple DC motor.

H-Bridge

The primary function of H-Bridges is to control Speed and Directions of rotation lift

Mechanical Design

Our elevator shafts are built from wooden pieces.  We chose this material because it offered no flexibility in design, ease of construction, and were available for free.  We added dowels to align the elevator cars within the shafts.  The elevators are raised and lowered with twine using a pulley system.  The other end of the twine was attached motor.  The motors were nailed to piece of wood.
