electricity
• Electricity is energy created by a flow of electrons.
• Protons are positive• Neutrons are negative• And opposites attract• Alike charges move away from each other.
Electric charge
• The scientific definition of electric charge is• Electric charge is a physical quantity of matter
which causes it to experience a force when near other electrically charged matter. Classically, electric charge comes in two types, called positive and negative
• My definition of electric charge is when an project has to many or to few electrons
Electric field
• Electric field is the area around a charged object.
• The insideLine is theMiddle Is theArea of thefield
Static charge
• The scientific definition of static charge is • An electric charge that has a build up on an insulated
body, often due to friction; the electric discharge from such a body; electrostatics
• My definition of static charge:• Electricity made by Friction.• Or when an electric charge is built up all in one place.
Examples
A balloon rubbing In your hair would be static. The area around an object is the electric field so
the area around a balloon.
Extra Information• There are three types of ways to charge. Induction
which is charging an object by not touching it or with out touching it. Contact which is when you charge it my contact. Polarization which is Charging by polarization.
• Insulators are They don’t allow heat to pass threw. Three examples of it are rubber fiber glass and insulation.
• Conductors are they allow heat to pass threw.Examples are wood paper and iron.
