The Electricity shop at Caldwell County ATC hosted the SkillsUSA Elec-trical Skills competition Monday, Feb. 24.
“The competition was extremely close with all the competitors doing a great job,” said Seath Butts, the Caldwell County ATC Electricity Instructor.
Placing fi rst in the competition was Caldwell County ATC student Ja-mie Laster, who attends Crittenden County High School.
Caldwell County ATC students also took the re-maining two spots in the

Serving as judges for the event were ATC main-tenance director Jerry Michael Andrews, state electrical inspector Jerry Thompson and electrical contractor Randy Jordan.
Butts said that the fi rst place winner, Laster, ad-vances to the state level competition. The state con test will be held in Lou-isville in April.
