PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride)

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is a widely used material that has good flexibility, a smoothsurface, and nontoxic qualities. Some grades are used in food and chemicalprocesses due to the inert nature of PVC.

Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) is a grade of PVC engineered to withstandhigher temperatures than standard PVC.

PVC Coated Aluminum

Aluminum is coated with a polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

PVC Coated Steel

Any steel grade with a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) coating.

Nylon

Nylon grades, such as 6/6, can offer flexibility and good water resistance.

Polyester

Polyester is a family of grades of thermoplastics with good toughness and sometimeshigh flexibility.

Polyethylene / HDPE

Polyethylene or high-density polyethylene (HDPE) is a light, tough plastic withexcellent corrosion resistance and good water barrier qualities.

Intermediate metal conduit (IMC) has rigid circular raceways with thinner walls thanrigid metal conduits (RMC), but the same outside diameter.

RMC

Rigid metal conduit (RMC) is thicker-walled and therefore heavier than intermediatemetal conduits (IMC), with the same O.D.

GRC

Galvanized rigid conduit (GRC) is metal conduit that has been coated with zinc, andoften other agents, to increase resistance to abrasion and corrosion.

FMC

Flexible metal conduit (FMC) has a helically-wound circular wireway, often used atthe end of a rigid run to accommodate for machinery positioning or orientation.

LFMC

RNC

They may be cut, formed, and bent more easily.

Electrical nonmetallic tubing (ENT) is a circular, corrugated wireway typically madefrom PVC.
