1100 MCHQ
The 1100 MCHQ metering cabi-nets were designed by EXM forHydro-Québec to house meteringinstruments. They are made ofhigh quality 16 GA or 14 GA steel. Three types of mounting panelsare installed in each cabinet.These removable panels aremade of powder coated steel.The panels are pre-punched toaccommodate the meteringinstruments used by Hydro-
Québec. The larger cabinetshave provisions to accommodateextra inner panels (purchasedseparately). A grounding splitterblock is installed on the cabinet’sleft side. All 1100 MCHQ cabi-nets have double doors which aresecured by a quarter-turn mecha-nisms and tamper-resistanthinges. There are two openingson top for meter connection.Cabinets are finished with heat
fused powder paint, electrostati-cally applied on a pretreatedbase. Box and the panel areANSI/ASA 61 smooth gray.CSA CertifiedNEMA/EEMAC 1 / IP30
