Electric Drive Italy is active part of the

debate that is currently involving the

transportation sector, with particular

reference to the automotive segment, that

constitutes the major originator of CO2

emissions.

The phenomenon of climate change, the

fluctuations oil prices, the scarcity of oil in

the long term prevision, the major

technological innovations in fields related

to the automotive industry (for example, in

the battery/energy storage sector),

coupled with the pressure to introduce

innovations in the automotive sector, the

requirements contained in European

legislation to reduce carbon emissions,

have given a strong impetus to the use of

electric cars / hybrid plug-in, promoting a

new field of study called E-MOBILITY.

Electric Drive Italia is the only entity, in Italy, to play both roles of EMSP and CPO.

Electric Drive Italia is equipped with a back-office platform (BOMTS), which, on the one

hand, dialogues with each recharging point (Charge Point) and on the other hand with

the DSO, in order to provide a plurality of services to the final user (customer);

services can be also enriched providing further information systems (tourist, PA, etc.). All

the other actors, particularly Energy Provider and DSO, continue to carry out their

respective mandates, particulary for the provision of energy and management of the

distribution network.

The platform is able to handle the totality of the charging stations both for cars, busses and for pedal

assisted bicycle, connected via specific servers to BOMTS platform,

The "smart" infrastrutturee connected to B.O.M.T.S. They are able to communicate

in real time with users, offering two types of services:

1. S.I.M.E. (24 h infrastructure monitoring, reservation, accounting, billing,

electricity consumption statistics, etc.). This implies that - pending the

optimization of the business plan - the BOMTS platform called for example, the

time required for charging (kWh delivered), on the basis of the calculation of use

of the medium, or adjusts the charging speed in view of real technical

characteristics of the medium connected and / or network load.

2. SMART SERVICES (eg tourist hotel network, prenotazioe, payments,

geolocation food and wine routes and cultural tourism percosi etc.)

1) “Key Account” Services, e.g.: Hotel & Resorts, Universities

These potential clients can easily recover the initial investment (infrastructure is seen as

Capex, Car renting & Services as Opex) by reselling throughout “all in” car rental services the

vehicles to own clients.

This model supports also strong-ecological drive markeing campaigns..

2) Construction of own infrastructures for (semi-)public use inside some selected

municipalities (own recharging networks, connected to BOMTS system). This model foresees

the sourcing of electrical power at low prices and reselling at high prices (as happens for

gasoline petrol stations).

These recharging stations can be used by private users or eventually also by already existing

car sharing companies or by hotels located in same area that might need electric cars for own

clients..

3) Partial Substitution of alreading existing fleets driven by thermal engine for Companies /

Public-Semipublic Organizations, eventually maintaining both electrical and thermal cars but

having the 24/24h monitoring (cost controlling) of BOMTS platform.

PROJECT FINANCING PROCEDURE FOR HYBRID ENERGY EFFICENCY &

E-MOBILITY PROJECTS

ADVISOR / ELECTRIC DRIVE ITALIA

The procurement of funding by private or public, for electric and sustainable mobility projects, can be generated through a project

financing mode.

The Advisor provides innovation, reliability and integrity of the Renewable Energy Asset Class. Its mission is to offer to clients

and investors with global expertise local execution capabilities. The Advisor manages every stage of the value chain to bridge

the gap between industry and the financial world.

The procedure will be outlined in four steps and will regard intervention in project financing for:

• Public lightning and thermal plants for private or public facilities(for example Offices, warehouses, etc.)

To allow a "bankability" of the project through project financing a specific energy consumption of the existing plants (possibly also

by accumulating the consumption of more buildings and / or private lighting zones) is requested with an overall amount ≥ 500,000

kW / h per year.

This consumption will be evaluated in combination with the consumption of the existing thermal plants.

The resulting savings will therefore ensure the installation of one or more recharging stations (E-mobility infrastructure)
