In view of the increase in the number of constituencies in the Constitution from 150 to
156, the Electoral Commission of Zambia would like to inform the public that it created
six new constituencies indicated in the schedule below:
NEW CONSTITUENCIES

1. Central Ngabwe Lufubu Constituency
2. Eastern Sinda Kapoche Constituency
3. Luapula Chembe Chembe Constituency
4. Lusaka Chirundu Chirundu Constituency
5. Western Nkeyema Nkeyema Constituency
6. Western Sioma Sioma Constituency
In addition, the general public is informed that during the 2016 Delimitation exercise,
the Electoral Commission of Zambia renamed the constituencies as indicated below:
