Courses for Older Adults at UTEP Adult education courses for senior citizens age 50 and over begin on February 9 in the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UTEP. Classes include hands-on arts and crafts, history, music, languages, literature, physical activities, science, sociology and writing. OLLI offers classes every day except Sunday. Life membership is $25. Enrollment costs $50 for as many courses as desired during the 12-week term. Parking permit is included. Please enroll by January 29 to ensure that classes make. A $25 late fee applies after that. Request a course schedule and register by phone, in person or by mail. THE MOVE OVER LAW If you see flashing blue or amber lights on a TxDot vehicle, emergency vehicle or tow truck stopped on the roadside or shoulder, you must move out of the lane closest to the vehicle. If it’s not possible to safely change lanes, you must reduce your speed to 20 mph below the posted limit. Violators can be fined up to $2000.
