WHAT IS DUAL CREDIT?
The Dual Credit Program provides an opportunity forqualified high school students to enroll in college courses.
Students can earn college creditand high school credit at the same time by taking EPCCclasses at their high school campus or online.

The Texas Success Initiative Assessment requires testing,remediation and advising of all students who attend a public
college or university in Texas. The program assesses a student’sability to perform effectively in college-level course work.

SCHOLASTICSTANDARDSFACTORS FOR SUCCESS
•Good Standing-A student whose gradepoint average and cumulative grade pointaverage is 2.0 (C) or higher.
•Academic Probation-is when your termor cumulative GPA falls below 2.0. It is aperiod of time in which a student isconditionally enrolled contingent uponeither improvement of scholasticachievement and/or conduct compliance.
•Academic Suspension-is a period of timein which a student is not eligible forenrollment. You will not be allowed toenroll for one (1), two (2) semesters, orone (1) calendar year. After thesuspension period, you can re-enroll.
