Embroidered nametag, navy with white block letters, over right pocket. Navy Blue Class B Uniform Jacket with “ECFA” patch on left shoulder (jacket is optional). Black leather uniform flat belt with plain, chrome buckle (not woven). Black socks for Class B Uniforms. White socks for Physical Fitness. Navy t-shirt with “ECFA” logo. Navy long sleeve t-shirt with “ECFA” logo. Navy workout shorts with “ECFA” logo. White t-shirt with “ECFA” logo. Light grey sweatshirt with “ECFA” logo (optional). El Camino Fire Academy will provide all students with wildland brush jacket and pants, SCBA and SCBA mask during the academy.

You may rent, borrow or purchase your turnout gear. All turnouts must meet NFPA 1851 throughout the entire length of the fire academy. Turnouts will be inspected for dates of manufacturing and compliance with condition.

California State Fire Marshal certification costs will be collected toward the end of the academy. All students must pay the cost of each state certified course in order to receive certification.
