harmonious society, Gaizhou Urban Drainage Limited Liability Company decided to start river

1.2 Project Overview
Project Name: River channel regulation engineering of Gaizhou City sewage treatment engineering

winter temperatures -30 ℃, Average annual rainfall 700 ~ 800mm, the annual maximum rainfall

(4) Hydrology
Gaizhou City west to the Liaodong Bay, is located in the Liaodong Peninsula Rivers Watershed

tributaries flow through the city moat, XIANG-SHUI River and ER-DAO river. DA-QING River
originates Da-shi-qiao eastern mountains, Two major tributaries upstream of the confluence to
WANG-HU village of Gaizhou City from east to west through, In the XI-HAI state-farm of the
southern and northern two injections Liaodong Bay. DA-QING River drainage area of 720.32 square
kilometers in the territory Gaizhou City, 61.5 km long river, historic maximum flow 2400m3 /s, The
average flow of 8.3 m3/s. DA-QING River upstream reservoirs and built SAN-DAO-LING and
SHI-MEN Reservoirs. Capacity of 108 million cubic meters, respectively, and 031.2 million cubic
meters, There are two large sluices built on the river downstream, Which is located 2.2 km West
Sluice Harbin-Dalian railway bridge downstream.
DA-QING River is a medium-sized river was too Muddy River, the closest HUN-TAI water
system of the DA-LIAO River Basin in Liaodong Peninsula. Currently in the urban section of the two

2. Environmental quality
2.1 Location of regional environmental quality status of construction projects
2.1.1 Status of ambient air quality
Ambient air quality monitoring stations using Gaizhou City Environmental Protection
station field monitoring data on 29 August – 31 August, Monitoring results in the table
below.
Monitoring sites: K1 300 meters dominant wind project on wind direction;
K2 dominant wind project 300 meters downwind of each set point.
Monitoring Project: TSP, PM10
Monitoring time: 3 days of continuous monitoring, monitoring daily average, At least one

2.1.2 Status acoustic environmental quality
In order to understand the project area acoustic environmental quality, Gaizhou City
Urban Sewerage Limited Liability Company commissioned Gaizhou City Environmental
Protection Monitoring station processed investigate for Residential and other sensitive
areas of N1 along the project settings, N2, N3, N4 all 4 points on 29 – 30 August 2011,
investigation into daytime and night monitoring, Monitoring results are shown in Table 4.

treatment works: Set N1, N2, N3, N4, total of four survey points.
Monitoring frequency: Continuous monitoring of two days. Twice daily: 10:00
and 22:00.
Monitoring instruments: AWA6218B type noise statistics analyzer.
