WHY DID THE ANCIENT EGYPTIANS BELIEVE IN

SO MANY GODS?

They made a god for everything and also most

of them were myths.

My thought of why they had a god for everything

because then they could explain about

everything.

Also there are around 8700 Ancient Egypt

Gods!

WHAT KINDS OF GODS WERE THERE?

Amun: The great god of Thebes, also

represented as a man.

Anubis: A jackal headed god, also patrol of

embalmers

Osiris: The god of the underworld, also

known as a dead king

Seth: The god of storms and violence

WHERE DID THE GOD AND GODDESSES LIVE?

The Egyptians believed the god and goddesses

lived in the skies.

People worshiped their god in a temple that is

dedicated only to that god. So that meant that

there were a lot of temples because they

believed in many gods!
