While many were probably thinking about your high school teachers, the same
points are still important to adults. Research shows adults need:Motivation to learn - Appropriate level of engagement to help them retain what
they learned - Reinforcement of good behavior Be given practical ways
to apply their learning -> ways they can transfer their knowledge to thereal world
So lets go through these briefly

You could be right that this childs symptoms are due to a URI, but without
checking the ears, you could easily overlook an otitis media. At a minimum, amissed ear infection will result in a cranky baby and perhaps unnecessaryvisits. At worst, the infection could lead to mastoiditis. So try to include an ear
examination on every patient with URI symptoms
