Research -Staying current with recent news and changes about Lupus. -Participating in research studies

Continuing Education-Attend a class or workshop that improves your understanding of Lupus.

Advocacy-Educate others about Lupus. -Participate in Political Activities-Be an active supporter of the Lupus Foundation of America!

Support

Family-Communicate with family about your fears, concerns, and/or needs. -Set aside time each week to talk and allow family to openly share as well.

Social Support -Attend social events -Respectively decline invitations if necessary, but always offer a suggested activity for the future. -Attend LFA Support Groups in your area

Supporting Others-Be the person that you need others to be to you. -If possible volunteer for a cause that offers support to others, such as the Cancer Society, Senior Citizen groups, etc.
