Efectis can qualify if your product is fi re safe. We can do this in our laboratories, as well as on location and this in a tailor-made way.

Efectis can make calorimetric hood testing of manufactured products or furniture, such as seats, vehicles, infl ammable liquid, ... in order to determine the heat release rate, the mass loss, the toxic gas, the emissivity, the fi re spread, etc. and up to 10MW.

The calorimetric hood
Efectis can realize real scale fi re test in the framework of research project or for design construction product validation in order to demonstrate the effi ciency of the custumer’s systems, such as: failure mode of structures, fi re behavior of structure elements or fi re wall, fi re development model’ validation, extinguishing system validation etc.

Pathology and diagnosis of buildings and construction materials
Stonevox and OutLabs Structures are dedicated to diagnosis, analysis and consulting in buildings.
Stonevox is dedicated to historic buildings of all types (classifi ed buildings, ancient monuments, churches, works of art such as sculptures, etc.). OutLabs Structures is specialized in modern buildings, infrastructures, industrial constructions, public work, etc.
Both Stonevox and OutLabs Structures provide :

Efectis created the « Efectis OutLabs » companies to propose the same Efectis in laboratory quality level, but outside them.
More than just a standard activity, the « Innovation spirit », in direct links with the R&D program, is part of the Efectis genetics.
The Efectis teams are developing scientifi c approaches, tests benches and equipment. The best illustration is the creativity in the fi eld of ad-hoc tests, a specifi c and new problem to be solved where Efectis imagines a new test equipment and test method. Furthermore, the practical experience of Efectis allows designing whole test facilities. These skills are also used to provide the best possible tests and expertise to their customers.
Now the technologies are implemented in systems built by privileged partners, whose design and test equipment are issued with the “Efectis Technology” label.

MOBILE FURNACE
(UNDER TESTING STANDARD ISO, HCM AND RWS)
Efectis is the fi rst company in the world that is able to perform realistic fi re resistance testing on-site using mobile furnaces.
The MobiFire® can be applied to all kinds of structural elements, such as ceilings, fl oors, roofs and walls. The damage to the structure will be very limited, thanks to the fi re controllability. All fi re curves are possible (ISO, RWS, HCM) for any desired duration. The MobiFire allows to demonstrate the fi re resistance capabilities of the construction element. Especially this is of interest for concrete structures, where the spalling behavior has to be determined adequately.
The high level of competence and a proven track record are characterizing our studies of structural fi re behavior, risk assessment and smoke spread.

CE MARKING
The Efectis network offers a range of services as Notifi ed Bodies in regard of CE marking of products with fi re characteristics covering system 1 (certifi cation + inspection + testing) and system 3 (testing) of the certifi cate of constancy of performance.

SAFE4FIRE VOLUNTARY MARK
Efectis is developing a voluntary fi re-safety mark to maintain a high fi re security level in buildings or infrastructures.
As the application of regulations and the fi re resistance of construction elements are not always controlled, Efectis is able to check if the required fi re safety level is reached.Furthermore, the services included in the SAFE4FIRE mark can offer the insurance of the compatibility of the different construction elements and methods through a comprehensive survey covering all processes:
