April 24 ‐ DEPART USAToday we will depart the USA aboard our transatlanticflight to Lisbon.

April 25 ‐ Arrive in Lisbon, Santarem, to FatimaUpon arrival in Lisbon, we will be met by one of ourrepresentatives and begin our tour and transfer to Fatima.Enroute, we will visit Santarem, site of the EucharisticMiracle. Later in the day, we will arrive at our hotel inFatima for dinner and overnight. Mass will be celebrateddaily.

April 26 ‐ Fatima We begin our day with a visit to the Cova and the Shrineof Our Lady of Fatima. Our Lady of Fatima appeared in1917 to these simple shepherd children and exhortedmankind to pray for world peace. We will see the Hamletof Aljustrel, where the children lived, and Valinhos, the siteof Our Lady's appearance after the children's return fromprison. The afternoon will be at leisure for personaldevotions. Optional : Follow the Stations of the Cross andjoin other pilgrims in the Rosary Candlelight Procession.In the evening, return to the hotel for dinner andovernight.

April 27 ‐ Fatima, Santiago This morning, start at the pristine Basilica that holds thetombs of Jacinta and Francisco. Enjoy a scenic transferalong the west coast of Portugal to Santiago via yourcomfortable motorcoach. Check into your hotel for dinnerand overnight in Santiago.

April 28 ‐ Santiago de CompostelaToday we will enjoy Santiago, the city of Spain’s PatronSaint and the most famous Spanish shrine. The name“Compostela,” from the Latin “field of the star,” wasnamed after the tradition of St. James (Santiago). This cityhas been the third major Christian pilgrimage center (afterJerusalem and Rome) and is the present capital of Galicia.We will walk on the labyrinthine cobbled streets of thismedieval city which are virtually intact since there hasbeen little damage to the city over the years. Santiago isa true national monument with its buildings built with thepractically indestructible granite stone. We will visit thePlaza del Obradoiro and the great Cathedral thatdominates the town. Inside the Cathedral, we findpriceless architecture, statues and religious treasures.Behind the silver and gold main altar are the sarcophagiof St. James and two of his disciples. We shall follow thepilgrim custom of kissing the hem of the jeweled cloakthat drapes the statue as we join all pilgrims at the noonPilgrims’ Eucharist. Dinner and overnight is at your hotel.

April 29 ‐ Cape Finisterra, SantiagoThis morning, journey to Cape Finisterra, a peninsula onthe west coast of Spain, said to be the “ends of theearth”.

April 30 ‐ A Day On Your Own in Santiago de CompostelaToday is yours to meditate and explore. Hotel, breakfastand dinner included. Those remaining on the extensionwill remain in Santiago while basic tour passengers willtravel to Lisbon for dinner and overnight.

May 1 ‐ 5, 2017May 1 SANTANDER This morning you’ll depart Santiago tracing portions of the Camino Santiago back towards Europe. See the the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary of Santander and the Abbey of the Holy Bodies, dedicated to Saints Emeterius and Celedonius. Check into your hotel for dinner and overnight.

May 2 SAN SEBASTIAN, BILBAO AND BAYONNE Visit the Monastery of San Ignacio de Loyola outside San Sebastian, built to honor St. Ignatius and home to a Jesuit School. Continue on to Bilbao and St. James Cathedral, consecrated in honor of St. James the Great. This church was a transit point for pilgrims on the El Camino de Santiago, or Way of St. James. Turn inland from the sea at Bayonne, home to the Saint‐Esprit church built by Louis XI to care for pilgrims en route to Santiago. Finish your day in Lourdes for dinner and overnight.

May 3 LOURDES Today you will celebrate Mass in one of the chapels here at the Sanctuary. Enjoy a walking tour of the Sanctuary grounds and then to the homes of Bernadette and her family. This afternoon, you will have free time. Partake in the healing waters baths or explore more of the town on your own, from the various apparition sites to the castle fort that affords panoramic views of the Sanctuary and the Pyrenees. Hotel, breakfast and dinner included.

May 4 A DAY ON YOUR OWN IN LOURDES Today is yours to meditate and explore. Hotel, breakfast and dinner included.

ACCOMMODATIONS: Price is per person based on double occupancy. When available, single rooms are often smaller thandoubles.
