Getting quality education is a basic right of every being, yet many are deprived of this opportunity and are forced to live a life that has no meaning. It is needless to say that why acquiring education is important as we all know that the benefits it yields are far beyond explanation. It helps you achieve heights that are not possible without an educated mind. What to do with people who for one reason or other cannot acquire education and are forced to earn bread and butter for their families? Are they in any way lesser than any one of us? Or is it that only those that can afford shall have the rights to have a better future? Is there any short cut or other way to fulfill that gap? Well, yes we do have an option that helps us to meet such inequality and that solution is “Online education”. Technology has made advances in almost all the spheres of daily life and has led to many positive changes being done in our lives. And of these changes is its impact on the field of education. The impact has been huge; with now more and more people getting educated it’s no wonder that technology has made its impression in the field of education as well. Education, despite of being a basic necessity is not delivered to masses as a public good but is rather capitalize upon in form of private good. Education should be the sole responsibility of the state only yet it is observed that in many places across the globe, it has been commercialized and private sector has played a major role in doing so. At one hand where it has fulfilled the gap by government on the other hand education has been commercialized and is no more a public commodity. In simple words, private sector has a big opportunity cost attach to the service they provide and so many are unable to pay that cost and thus remain refrained from their basic rights.
