Make  the  Most  of  Your  Conference  Experience  Edmodo  is  the  social  media  platform  of  OpenBlend.  Each  conference  session  has  it’s  own  Edmodo  group,  in  which  you  can  download  presentation  materials  and  discuss  ideas  shared  during  the  sessions.  In  addition,  as  a  member  of  the  Edmodo  OpenBlend  Community,  you  can  connect  with  other  attendees  and  extend  your  experience  long  after  the  conference.    To  get  started:  1. If  you  do  not  have  an  account,  go  to  www.edmodo.com  and  select  “I’m  a  Teacher”  

to  register  for  free.        

         

     2. Join  the  OpenBlend  Community  at  

http://www.edmodo.com/publisher/OpenBlend    3. Navigate  to  the  “Collection”  on  the  left  hand  column  

and  access  the  conference  guide.      

   

 4. Locate  the  session  code  in  the  conference  guide  for  

each  session  you  are  planning  to  attend.      5. Go  to  www.edmodo.com  and  select  “Join”  in  the  Group  

section  of  the  left  navigation.        

 

   

6. Enter  the  six-­‐digit  session  code  to  join  the  group.      

     

   Download  the  free  Edmodo  app  from  the  App  Store  or  the  Android  Market  to  get  up-­‐to-­‐the-­‐minute  alerts,  updates,  and  follow  session  conversations  while  you  are  on  the  go.
