Lessons 17 & 18 1 Narrator: “This is the story of four friends who want to be famous sportspeople. The story begins when they are in school. At that time the teacher interviews some of them.” Teacher: “What do you like doing in your free time?” Narrator: “Peter loves sports! He thinks about sports all day. And he dreams about sports all night.” Peter: ”I like playing sports. I love tennis, football, judo, roller- skating and running.” Teacher: ”What do you want to be when you grow up?" Peter: "I want to be a famous sportsperson.” Teacher: ”Why do you think you can be a famous sportsperson?” Peter: “Because I can run very fast, kick the ball very hard and swim very well. I can imagine myself training for the Olympics in the future. I’d like to be a famous sportsperson, training very hard and eating healthy food.” Narrator: “All Peter’s friends love sports too.” Teacher: “Do your friends love sports too?” Peter: “Oh, yes! My friend Sam can play hockey very well. My friend Lucy is excellent at horse riding. My friend David rides his bike very fast The Olympic Games of Our Dreams Listen to The Olympic Games of Our Dreams and act it out as a role play.

Teacher: “What do you dream for the future?"Peter: “I dream that my friends and I are famous sportspeople in the future.” Narrator: “Peter is a world famous athlete. He must train very hard. He runs every day. His legs are very strong. He eats fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, yoghourt and pasta to be healthy and strong.”

Narrator: “Time has passed and the Olympics day is here! Peter is a world famous athlete”.Journalist: “Peter, are you nervous?” Peter: “Yes, I am but I’ve trained very hard to win this gold medal.” Narrator: “Sam plays hockey. His hockey team is the best one!” Journalist: “Are you nervous, Sam?” Sam: “I’m very excited. We are champions now. We’ve a gold medal.”Journalist: “Now, we’re with David. He’s in a cyclist. David is the fastest and he wins a gold medal too. How do you feel, David?”David: “I still can’t believe it! But I’m really happy.”
