Free Music Tuition Program (Violin, Viola, ‘Cello & Double Bass)

Dear Parent.

This Program is offered in conjunction with the Australian Children’s Orchestra

Venue: Le Page Primary School Hall (77 - 79 Argus St Cheltenham)

Commences: Term 1.

This program is offered to students from Yr. 1 through to Year 10

Wednesdays

Class 1: 4.00 – 4.45 pm (Beginners)

Class 2: 4.00 – 4.45 pm (for those who can already play)

Class 3: 5.00 – 6.00 pm (Advanced players)

Saturdays

Class 4: 1.30 – 2.15 pm (Beginners)

Class 5: 1.30 – 2.15 pm (for those who can already play)

Class 6: 2.30 – 4.00 pm (Advanced players)

Requirements:

Instruments can be rented/purchased from Pat's Music or Oz Strings, etc.

Textbooks: for Violin, Viola, ‘Cello, Double Basses.

For Beginners we use: "Essential Elements" Book 1

For those who can already play we use: “Essential Elements” Bk 2

Advanced students use: “Essential Technique (Bk 3) plus orchestra pieces.
