Tema acara : “Preserving Mother Language and Enhancing Foreign Language

Competence.”

Deskripsi tema : Dengan ditetapkannya Hari Bahasa Ibu Internasional pada tanggal 21

Februari 2021 membuktikan bahwa di dunia ini terdapat beragam bahasa

ibu yang digunakan oleh setiap individu untuk berkomunikasi. Oleh karena

itu, perlu ada upaya untuk terus menjaga dan melestarikan keragaman

bahasa ibu. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan saling

mempelajari bahasa ibu satu dengan lainnya sebagai bahasa asing.

Pada kesempatan kali ini, Pusat Bahasa Universitas Telkom

menyelenggarakan kegiatan L2CFH 2021 untuk memfasilitasi para pelajar

agar tetap kreatif dan produktif selama di rumah dengan cara

mengekspresikan idenya tentang bagaimana menjaga bahasa ibu dan

meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa asing dalam bentuk perlombaan

bahasa.

L2CFH 2021 ini ditujukan kepada Pelajar Indonesia Tingkat

SMA/SMK/Sederajat dan Universitas.

KETENTUAN UMUM 1. Pelajar Indonesia aktif tingkat SMA/SMK/Sederajat atau Universitas 2. Peserta tidak dipungut biaya (gratis). 3. Peserta wajib follow Instagram Pusat Bahasa @lac.telkomuniv untuk mendapatkan

informasi terbaru tentang L2CFH 2021. 4. Lomba dibagi menjadi 2 kategori berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan yaitu:

1) Lomba Bahasa Tingkat SMA/SMK/Sederajat yaitu English Short Essay, English Speech, French Speech dan Japanese Speech

LOMBA SHORT ESSAY

KETENTUAN KHUSUS

1. Lomba bersifat individu. 2. Jenis bahasa yang diperlombakan yaitu bahasa Inggris. 3. Ada 2 kategori lomba English Short Essay:

1) English Short Essay Tingkat SMA/SMK/Sederajat 2) English Short Essay Tingkat Universitas

4. Pemenang lomba dari masing-masing kategori terdiri atas juara 1, 2, dan 3

5. Peserta yang mengikuti jenis lomba ini tidak berhak mengikuti jenis lomba L2CFH 2021 lainnya.

Lomba Short Essay agar bisa mengekspresikan idenya tentang

C. KETENTUAN PEMBUATAN KARYA

1. Karya tulis diketik dalam bahasa Inggris dengan jumlah kata antara 700 – 800 termasuk

judul dan nama penulis.

2. Nama peserta dicantumkan pada bagian kanan atas halaman sebagai header yang

dimunculkan pada setiap halaman.

3. Karya tulis yang diikutsertakan dalam lomba ini adalah karya tulis yang belum pernah

dipublikasikan atau diikutsertakan dalam lomba yang sama.

4. Karya tulis yang diikutsertakan dalam lomba tidak mengandung unsur penistaan

SARA, pornografi, dan apapun yang bertentangan dengan hukum di Indonesia.

5. Karya tulis yang diikutsertakan dalam lomba adalah hasil karya sendiri,

bukan hasil rekayasa dan reproduksi.

6. Karya tulis yang diikutsertakan dalam lomba maksimal 1 untuk setiap peserta.

karya tanpa ada royalty fee.

12. Apabila peserta menggunakan referensi tertentu dalam pembuatan karyanya,

kepemilikan referensi tersebut tetap menjadi milik sumber aslinya dan bukan menjadi

milik panitia ataupun peserta.

13. Hasil penilaian Juri merupakan keputusan mutlak dan tidak dapat diganggu gugat.

14. Jika ditemukan pelanggaran terhadap ketentuan yang telah dipaparkan, maka peserta

akan didiskualifikasi.

Description : The declaration of International Mother Language Day on February 21, 2021

proves that in this world there are various mother tongues used by each individual

to communicate. Therefore, there needs to be efforts to maintain and preserve

the diversity of mother tongues. One of the efforts that can be done is to learn

from each other’s mother tongue as a foreign language.

On this occasion, Telkom University Language Center holds L2CFH 2021 to

facilitate students to stay creative and productive at home by expressing their

ideas about how to maintain their mother tongue and improve foreign language

skills in the form of language competitions.

L2CFH 2021 is intended for Indonesian Students at Secondary (Senior High School)

and University Level.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Participants are Indonesian Students (Senior high school or University)

2. Participation is free of charge.

3. Participants must follow Language Center Instagram account @ lac.telkomuniv to get

the most updated information about L2CFH 2021.

4. The competition is divided into 2 categories based on the level of education, namely:

1) High School / Vocational / Equivalent Level Language Competition, namely English

Short Essay, English Speech, French Speech and Japanese Speech

2) University Level Language Competition, namely: English Short Essay and English

Creative Vlog

1. This is an individual contest.

2. The type of language being contested is English.

4. The awards are given to the first winner, second winner and third winner.
