What an honor is for me to be sitting next to my dear friend Endre Balogh in his Hollywood house! Arriving on a Sun-day I was so excited to meet him. As he opened the door and welcomed me, I felt immediate warmth from him. I had so many questions to ask about his music and photography, but mostly as an artist about his amazing artworks. He humbly talked about his works and showed me some of his creations.

We all see his great works of arts on many sites, and his work has inspired many of us through the years, but in ad-dition to his amazing “Sacred Geometry” designs, Endre has many talents as a photographer and musician.

From earliest childhood, Endre Balogh has been an internationally known con-cert violinist. He spent much of his career touring the world, playing solo recitals, concertos with orchestras, and cham-ber music – working with such eminent musical luminaries as Zubin Mehta, Chris-toph von Dohnányi, Vladimir Horowitz, and André Watts. Endre Balogh has per-formed as soloist with the Berlin Philhar-monic, Rotterdam Philharmonic, Zürich Tonhalle Orchestra, Frankfurt Sympho-ny, and

Basel Symphony as well as several oth-er European ensembles. In the United States he has appeared with the Los An-geles Philharmonic and the orchestras of Washington D.C., Seattle, Denver, Dallas, and Honolulu to name just a few. In 2004, he severely curtailed his tour-

ing schedule to spend more time with his wife and children and rapidly began hon-ing his passion for photography.

It is a passion which started in 2004. Soon, he was winning top awards in contests. His unique aesthetic vision quickly earning him an enviable reputa-tion among his photographic colleagues and his photos are prominently displayed in the collections of several connoisseurs of fine photographic arts. His photo “Egg On Glass” was chosen from near-ly 3000 entries from 40 countries to be displayed among 87 others in the prestigious “Art of Digital” International Exhibition – 2007.

You can hear Endre Balogh perform a concert of chamber music on Sunday, September 1 at 6 PM (Pacific Time) in the Bing Auditorium of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Wilshire Blvd. If you are in the area it is free to attend, or from anywhere in the world you can listen live at concert time, or “on demand” for an entire week afterwards, on the in-ternet at

Mercy Me

The creamy mix of meso luscious, easy to swallow readily digestibleeven nourishing.

Got to keep making moredeliciousnessfrom the forgivenessthat tenderized my soul.

Now I have room in mebig enough for a circus. Finally I put to restthe ghosts and garmentsof resentment and old fears.

Surely I could flyand do tricks on horsebackor even lick hornets without getting stung,

if I wanted to.

But I stay simplelike an appleor a long walk or a good cup of Earl Grey teawith a little milk.

10 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2013

On a day like many others, something deep within me spoke, “forgive yourself; you never did anything wrong.” I listened closely and slowly, silently; I repeated this powerful statement to myself. My eyes welled up and tears began to run down my cheeks like little rivers. My whole body began to quiver and shake, my chest opened, my heart became a portal for ecstatic love. I pondered the meaning of the echoing statement that had broken me open.

I looked back through my Life and viewed the many challenges, assaults and hor-rors I had survived, the perpetrators of these acts, and my years of suffering. I realized with a sudden clarity that I had been a participant in a perplexing and volatile drama; I played my role just as the others had. Looking through the lens of expanded awareness, it appeared suddenly obvious to me that I had truly never done anything “wrong”. I had been living within the confines of victimhood and fear, believing that I was caught by the strictures and conditions of a very untrue and limited view of my life. Un-worthiness and shame were confound-ing emotions that plagued me constantly. Now I had gained some clarity of under-standing and my perspective began to shift radically. Over time I have consid-ered and slowly integrated these revela-tions.

We live in earth school where most learn-ing is delivered unto us through challeng-ing, dynamic and difficult experiences. We are here to gain character, integrity, strength, and eventually realize that we are meant to be in alignment with soul,

our spirit, our own higher self that is always in union with God, the Divine Source of All Creation. This is our es-sence. We are actually spiritual beings undergoing a human experience and ev-erything of Life is happening for us, not to us.

Like looking through a faceted crystal, many dimensions and levels of subtle realities exist simultaneously. Within this field of possibilities, we can select a new view of our self and life by choosing different parameters, a creative act of renewal that allows us to be larger than our former constricted selves and be lib-erated to reinvent our life conditions. As the energetic substance we truly are, light forms with unlimited capacity for transformation, we can generate anew any condition we choose to focus upon. We all have this ability but cannot access it successfully as long as we remain con-stricted.

Hey, don’t get me wrong; I am still a hu-man being going through an amazing and ever challenging process of transfor-mation. Occasionally I get caught up in a difficulty, but, much sooner than before, I realize that I am being shown some-thing within myself that still needs work. This transforming is an ongoing process we can continue till we make our transi-tion. There’s no finish line, and there’s no turning back. Nobody walking around in a body on this wondrous earth plane has completely transformed and ful-ly figured out and integrated all gross and mystical aspects of life. The great mystery is alive and well.

11 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2013

Forgiveness in its fullness is a complete acceptance of the multi-dimensionality of each being in our lives, each situa-tion... and of our own selves. In the ma-terial world forgiveness appears as a distinct decision, followed eventually by a vast emotional rolling out of compas-sion, acceptance, and loving regard. This does not mean you must contact or have dinner with anyone who does not feel appropriate to you. Just cut the cords energetically and wish all well. Send prayers aloft requesting guidance and assistance to aid in your forgiveness process; know that your prayers are heard and answered.

In order to be free, forgive everyone, especially yourself... as you are the only one who can let go, to fill up with brilliance and radiance, to perceive the perfection that is this Life.

See the holiness of all the dramas and traumas that initiated you and bless them, bless them all... and be grateful, even as you still ache with oozing wounds. The salve for healing is waiting in the holy, effulgent love of God, which is always with you, always available. Be still and let it in.♥

Accidents are not Accidental

Accidents don’t happen to us by acci-dent. We are very much involved in the planning and construction of them, and by understanding that accidents are a learning opportunity that we planned for ourselves, no matter how trivial or tragic it might be, we will be better able to cope with the pain and suffering caused by these events. By being awake to the nature of accidents, we will have a better understanding of the dynamics of the situation and recog-nize an accident for the window of op-portunity* that it presents. And while we may never forget our part in an accident (and probably shouldn’t), we will be able to learn from it, and be more open to forgiving others, and ourselves, so that we can move forward and expedite our spiritual growth.

According to my Guide Group, the “GG,” accidents are pre-planned events that are designed to provide multiple windows of opportunity for learning and growth for many individual souls. A great deal of preparation goes into planning an accident, and according to the GG:

“This planning includes the careful or-chestration of entire lives. The level of organization necessary to ensure that two or more people end up in exactly the right place at exactly the right time, in order for an accident to take place is immense.”

As mind-bogglingly complex as it is for us to contemplate the thought that ac-cidents are pre-planned events, the GG says it’s equally complicated to formu-late the windows to make them happen, which is something that we when we’re on the other side of the veil planning our upcoming incarnation. This is due to coordinating the ripple effect that begins with the initial participants and eventually touches and opens windows of opportunity for their families, friends, co-workers, care-takers, and anyone they come into contact with at the acci-dent scene, in the hospital, in the doc-tor’s office, and even at the drug store. More and more windows of opportunity are opened as people are touched and affected by the accident in different ways, and in turn, interact with others.

The GG note that there are four main reasons that we might consider planning to be involved in an accident:

1) To satisfy Group Karma2) To satisfy an individual Karmic debt3) To learn a particular lesson4) To have an experience that will allow us to advance to the next level of our continued spiritual growth.

They also channeled that while there are many possible reactions to an accident, it is the way that we react that is the key to learning a particular lesson and get-ting the most from the experience; and the GG provided the following list to give us further insight:

• Some will react with sadness that will either recover from or cling to

• Some will react with shock and disbelief that this is happening to them

• Some will blame others and not take responsibility that belongs to them

• Some will stagnate because of the accident, while others will deal with it and move forward

• Some will forgive the person who caused the accident, some will not

• Some will forgive themselves, others will not

• Some will become caregivers (possi bly allowing them to complete a Karmic cycle)

• Some refuse to become caregivers (possibly exercising freewill and miss ing an opportunity for growth or refusing to be a caregiver is exactly what they are supposed to do—we can’t judge)

• Some continue to be friends with or close to those who suffered as a result of the accident, and some move away

Here’s how to tell if the reaction you had is the correct reaction to get you through such a window of opportunity: You’ll stop attracting the same type of situation to you, for example: My nephew once had six incidents surrounding his car in a two-month period. He had five acci-dents of varying degrees, and then the car was stolen one night from in front of his apartment building. When he finally reflected on these incidents and examined his attitude and reactions, he tried something new: Instead of play-ing a victim role, he owned up to his part in what happened and began to accept responsibility instead of continuing to blame others. And then the accidents came to a complete stop, and do did his life script of attracting fender bend-ers—and it happened overnight.

A life script is a series of windows of opportunity where we didn’t learn the lesson we planned to learn, and so we continue to draw similar circumstances to ourselves until we eventually adjust our attitude or actions, and learn the lesson. Our windows of opportunity are as unique as the individual souls who design them, and to learn a lesson that’s eluded us, the best thing we can

do is to look inside ourselves and search for patterns and life scripts. Once we recognize a pattern, we’ll know that how we handled similar situations in the past didn’t work, and we’ll also know that we need to alter our reactions, attitude, or actions the next time a similar window opens.

Fender benders are one thing, and life altering/tragic accidents are some-thing else entirely. Please know that life altering accidents are not taken lightly on the other side of the veil—these events are of great importance to the life plan of the individuals involved. The reason that the GG are arming us with this information about the origin of acci-dents is so that we can better understand the why of them, and their intent is that this knowledge will give us the power to analyze the opportunities for growth that result from them. They are not saying that this information makes it easier to deal with an accident, but that by understanding that an accident is a window of opportunity that we have planned for ourselves, we will be able to help ourselves move forward more quickly, particularly when it comes to forgiveness.

Namaste.

Meditation

I am entangled with an extremely enjoy-able and addictive habit. It is my daily ritual of immersing my awareness in the peaceful silence of Pure Being through the supernal mechanics of Transcen-dental Meditation (TM). I have been on a journey to self-realization through my relentless practice of meditation for over 40 years in this mortal realm. It was in a peaceful state of meditation that I awak-ened to the realization that I AM an eter-nal spiritual Being. It is in the deepest depths of consciousness through the vehicle of meditation that you will dis-cover your Source and the essence of who you really are. You are a Spiritual being having a temporary human expe-rience. I first discovered Transcendental Medi-tation in 1966 when I read a book called “Science of Being and Art of Living” written by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the founder of TM. Like most 17 year olds in 1967 I was a huge fan of The Beatles and when they became followers of the Maharishi along with The Beach Boys, Donavan and others I embraced that as

an indication that Maharishi was authen-tic. In 1970 I traveled to Rishikesh, India to be trained as a teacher of TM at one Maharishi’s ashrams and lived there for 6 months. I am blessed and honored to have received my Mantra from Mahari-shi himself along with 50 other initiates. Maharishi holds a doctorate in physics from the University of Allahabad, but as a young man he abandoned scientific study of the material world to begin his pilgrimage toward spiritual understand-ing. He is still respected and consid-ered a genius in the field of conscious-ness.

“Meditation is the sharpest tool to dig out the great treasure hidden within

the deepest levels of consciousness. It will enhance the harmonious

development of the Body/Mind and Spirit. It is a technique to integrate one’s personality, to be able to live

and enjoy life both worldly and divine. It feeds the Body/Mind with vital energy, peace and happiness”.

~ Maharishi Mahesh Yogi

The Silent Journeyby Cosmo Cavallaro

24 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2013

The practice of meditation requires only a minimum amount of self-discipline which is your desire to maintain your meditation schedule twice a day. TM’s essential tool is meditating in a relaxed position, eyes closed, for two 25 minute periods a day, on a Mantra that is spe-cially chosen for you by a teacher of TM. There is no mind control or concentra-tion involved in TM. As Maharishi says; “If you can think you can meditate.” The path to spiritual attainment is still the goal but it can never be fully realized if the Body/Mind is congested with stress. Correct meditation is an effortless pro-cess that leads to a deeper state of re-laxation. TM has over 40 years of re-search to prove that it is the supreme vehicle that relieves stress. There is no need to live a cloistered life and give up all your worldly possessions nor is it necessary to become a monk and live in a cave in the Himalayan Mountains.

There have been many holy men and woman who have taken that journey and experienced their own awakening in the blissful state of enlightenment. But the rewards of meditation can be realized when we simply and effort-lessly transcend the active mind and dive into the depths of our conscious-ness through the practice of meditation. The peacefulness we gain from expe-riencing profound silence isn’t gener-ated by something we do. This feeling of bliss will saturate our being when we effortlessly move into silence. We do this by deliberately withdrawing from all extreme and obnoxious distractions.

The difference between silence and the faintest thought is immense. TM brings you into the realm of silence. Silence is the element in which the creative intel-ligence, the process of evolution and the thoughts of God organize and cre-ate the universe we inhabit. From the ancient spiritual masters to the mod-ern quantum physicists exploring the unified field technology they are all in agreement that creation is generated in the depths of pure silence.

“This aloneness is worth more than a thousand lives. This freedom is

worth more than all the lands on earth. To be one with the truth for just

a moment, in pure silence is worth more than the world and life itself.”

~ Rumi

Through experiential knowledge I am convinced that TM will resonate in everyone’s awareness at the high-est frequency. But there are hundreds of other ways to meditate. The secret to gaining the greatest rewards from any system of meditation is to find a practice that you are comfortable with and one that you can engage in on a daily basis. It can be as effortless as a quiet, leisurely walk through Nature’s splendor, experiencing the calm-ness of a sunset, working in your gar-den or watching the ebb and flow of the ocean waves which can move you into a state of peaceful stillness. No matter if you spend hours a day meditating or merely a few minutes a day your efforts will be rewarded.

25 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2013

In my own experience taking 25 minutes at the beginning and end of each day to mediate is all that is needed. You can pray, write in a journal, or just enjoy be-ing with Nature to start the journey. But any meditation technique should not be pursued with a grim determination to “get it right.” The point is to cultivate openness, unlimited thinking, relaxation and focused awareness. In the stillness of silence we develop greater integrity and enhance our spiritual evolution. Meditation can harmonize the duality of the unseen and seen world, the physical world of shapes and forms and the spiritual world of pure energy. So, when you are meditating you are achieving higher states of conscious-ness and can transcend dimensional construct.

“It is in this silence that the deepest activities begin. It is here that you

discover action without motion, labor that is profound repose,

vision in obscurity, and, beyond all desire, a fulfillment whose limits

extend to infinity.” ~ Thomas Merton

When we neglect any form of inner reflection, prayer or meditation we deprive our Body/Mind and Spirit from the essence of the nourishment they actually need. Meditation is not a diffi-cult path to follow. As Maharishi was always fond of saying “meditation is ridiculously simple”. To live a truly healthy and wholesome life we must enter our stillness through medita-

tion and realize the wisdom of our true essence as we enter our sacred sanc-tuary of solitude.

Bald Eagle

28 THEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2013

Before European settlers first sailed to America’s shores, bald eagles may have numbered half a million. They ex-isted along the Atlantic from Labrador to the tip of south Florida, and along the Pacific from Baja California to Alaska. They inhabited every large river and concentration of lakes within North America. They nested in forty-five of the lower forty-eight states; one researcher estimated an eagle nest for every mile of shore along Chesapeake Bay. They congregated on the lower Hudson, and were extremely abundant along the coast of Maine.

There is no single cause for the de-cline in the bald eagle population. When Europeans first arrived on this continent, bald eagles were fairly common. As the human population grew, the eagle popu-lation declined because food supplies decreased. People hunted and fished over a broad area; essentially, eagles and humans competed for the same food, and humans, with weapons at their disposal, had the advantage. As the hu-man population expanded westward, the natural habitat of the eagles was de-stroyed, leaving them fewer places to nest and hunt, which caused the popula-tion of bald eagles to decline sharply by the late 1800s.

By the 1930s, people became aware of the diminishing bald eagle population; subsequently, in 1940 The Bald Eagle Act was passed, which reduced the ha-rassment by humans, and made it pos-sible for eagle populations to begin to recover. However, at the same time,

DDT and other pesticides began to be widely used; pesticides sprayed on the bald eagle’s status was upgraded to “threatened” in 1995, two decades af-ter the banning of DDT and the passing of laws to protect both eagles and their nesting trees.

plants were eaten by small animals, which were later consumed by birds of prey. The DDT poison harmed both the adult birds and the eggs that they laid. The egg shells became too thin to with stand the incubation period, and were of-ten crushed. Eggs that were not crushed during incubation often did not hatch, due to high levels of DDT and its derivatives. Large quantities of DDT were discovered in the fatty tissues and gonads of dead bald eagles, which may have caused them to become infertile.

More than 100,000 bald eagles were killed in Alaska from 1917 to 1953. Alaskan salmon fisherman feared they were a threat to the salmon population.

Public awareness increased, and many states placed the bald eagle on their lists of endangered species in the 1960s and early 1970s.

Bald eagles were officially declared an endangered species in 1967 in all areas of the United States south of the 40th parallel, under a law that preceded the Endangered Species Act of 1973.

Until 1995, the bald eagle had been listed as endangered under the Endangered Species Act in 43 of the 48 lower states,

29 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2013

Only a handful of species have fought their way back from the United States’ endangered species list; the California gray whale, the American alligator, and the bald eagle are a few. Once endan-gered in all of the lower 48 states, the bald eagle’s status was upgraded to “threatened” in 1995, two decades af-ter the banning of DDT and the passing of laws to protect both eagles and their nesting trees.

The Native Americans consider the bald eagle to be sacred. The Natives believe the eagle was the chosen master of the skies by the Creator. This is also because eagles generally fly at a higher altitude than most other birds. This gives them a unique perspective that is unmatched by any other bird. By virtue of their high flying they are considered to be closer to the Creator than all other creatures on earth. The eagle, it is believed, works as a messenger for the Creator. It is tasked with the duty of carrying the prayers of human beings from the earth world to the spirit world where they believed the creator resides. Seeing an eagle dur-ing a prayer ceremony was taken as a sign of having one’s prayers accepted. If the Natives wanted the Creator to take immediate notice of them they would hold up an eagle feather in their hands.

Each part of the eagle has different sym-bolic meanings. For example the wings of the eagle are taken as a symbol of the balance between males and females. It shows the interdependency of one upon the other and how both must work

in cooperation to achieve the desired results.

The Natives attached great importance to eagle feathers. They were a prominent part in many religious practices and cer-emonies.

The feathers were held in such high es-teem that in case someone dropped a feather on the ground it would be given a thorough cleaning. The feather had to be guarded until the cleaning ceremony was conducted. Eagle feathers could not just be worn. Rather they had to be acquired. The brave warriors that per-formed a spectacular feat in battles were awarded eagle feathers. It was only such individuals that were authorized to wear the eagle feathers. They would do so ei-ther directly in their hair, on a headdress or a special bonnet.

CHALLENGESby Ellen Heller

Artwork by Maryam Morrison

31 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2013

To challenge someone, let’s say in a duel, means that you are being called upon to show ‘who you are;’ and in that sense, life’s challenges are just that….only with life challenges, we are called upon to dis-play who we Really Are….

The capitalization of those two words, “Really and Are,” basically mean our Real Self…our Divine, Higher Self; some call it a Soul…some call it “God” in physical form. Whatever the name, we are refer-ring to that True Self; the Divinity that we Really Are.

A challenge, therefore is nothing more than an opportunity to show US that part of Self we often are not even aware of, unless we are… For to Experience ourselves in our God-State, or what some may refer to as our “Christed Self,” or “Christ Conscious-ness” is truly what we are ‘up to.’ And that is because our pure and only Real aspect of who we are is…A Spirit Having A Human Experience.

As challenges may come along, and as we are incarnated as a Human Being, we get to decide what we wish to be in relation to that challenge, with the ultimate goal: to choose and decide to Be that Divine Self, that which some call Love. To be Loving at all times is what a Master is, for a Master sees all the world as aspects of his True Self, for in reality, there is only One Being sitting here….and we are all part of that Oneness, called God. Therefore, a Master never ‘curses the darkness,’ for he/she knows that it is all Sacred, all Divine, and that fear and darkness are but

illusions; they, and other life experiences and challenges, are sent to himself by himself, to define Self.

For when it finally comes to what we are doing here, we are living a life that is filled with ‘challenges,’ which are really only opportunities in disguise, to help us experience, “Who We Re-ally Are,” and all life’s events are based on our perspective of that Holy Per-ception….for when you know who you Really Are, and live that, you then experience Heaven….

And that Nirvana, that Holy Place sought by all, is truly always with us, and is al-ways……..Here Now.

Question: Dear Spirit-Minded: I’ve heard many quantum physicists sug-gest the idea that there is “no real out there, out there,” in that it is all an illusion...I just don’t get that....any help would be appreciated.

Signed, Lost

Answer: Dear Lost,

Quantum Physics is basically the study of possibilities. The quote you mentioned about that there is no real out there basically is referring to the premise that we create our world with our thoughts and feelings; that Love, which we really are, is a creative energy, AND that through our feelings

and thoughts, manifests our world. Therefore, everything comes from within, showing up as an ‘illusion,’ that is temporary and put into place for our personal experience...and why? So that we can know ourselves experientially to what we already are in concept. This idea expands to the awareness that there are endless possibilities that exist all at one time, and that our feelings and thoughts pro-duce that particular experience, which we call Life. Therefore, everything is created from within, and hence no real ‘out there.’ Blessings!

The Magic Of

Benefits Include Detox Turmeric

35 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2013

Tumeric benefits your body on many lev-els. The spice is grown throughout Asia and has been popular there for centu-ries. It is a main component in cooking in India, Thailand, Malaysia and Pakistan to name just a few countries. It is a deep yellow color and usually sold ground. This yellow powder is one of the main in-gredients in curry powder. In times past, its rich color was used to dye clothes, including those of Buddhist monks. It is also used widely in the food industry as a coloring agent.

Although in the West we have not paid so much attention to this exotic spice, it is becoming more and more popular in North America. It’s amazing healing prop-erties are being used to treat arthritis, for detox, to boost the number of enzymes in your digestive tract and can calm your stomach, to name just a few of the ways it can help us. It is both antiseptic and an-tibacterial so it’s great for cuts and burns and in Asia it is well known as an effec-tive home remedy.

It actually belongs to the ginger family and it also goes by the name of curcum-in. Its Latin name is curcuma longa and it is the curcumoids that provide many of the healing benefits of the spice. In both Chinese and the Ayurveda medicine of India, it is a popular health tonic which can support an improved liver, gallblad-der as well as overall digestive functions. In short this is a great spice to help with detoxifying and improving your digestion. In fact it’s an important aid in the diges-tion of sugar and fat. This is why it can be found in colon cleansing products. Be-

cause it is antibacterial and antiseptic, it is great for cleansing you colon. It does this gently and thoroughly.

The first organ to detoxify is the liver and here turmeric is the hero. The liver filters toxins by making bile which becomes a property of the gall bladder. This yellow jewel of a spice helps to detoxify the liver by increasing bile, thus making it an ideal liver cleanser as well as enhancing the cells of the liver and their ability to break down the toxins.

You can buy this in capsule or supple-ment form. Read the ingredients care-fully to avoid unnecessary fillers and buy certified organic if possible. Tumeric ben-efits your body on many levels and de-toxification is just one of them.

Living in the Heart

How to live in Heart ConsciousnessBy Jan Diana

37 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2013

This morning as most mornings, I awoke to the sweetness of the birds singing their songs of joy.It is a won-derful way to greet the day, with a song in your heart, an expression of joy for another day of life and living.

This morning was a little unique though in that I was carried away on their sweet notes into a journey of pure wonderment of what is unfolding in every moment.

Imagination is such a gift, to be able to see beyond perhaps what is perceived as reality and to float in a sea of in-finite possibilities. Imagination opens up the doorways to the dreams of the heart becoming realized, for as we allow ourselves to open to these pos-siblities, golden pathways present to take us on these journeys of choice.

Now more than ever before our life can be filled with greater joy, more fulfillment and an abundance of all of our hearts desires. The elevating presence of our Beloved Gaia, as well as the elevating consciousness of humanity is opening up the possibility for greater awareness of the truth of self and our divine nature. This allows us to move into greater conscious cre-ating the desire of our hearts.

To be in our hearts, in joy, creating our dreams well, this is a dream come true for us all and we are moving into this

now as we choose and are ready.

This is a new way of living for most of us as we have been conditioned to be in mind mostly concerned about past and future. Many are now moving into being in the Now thanks to many wonderful teachers that have shared this truth of the power and joy of being in the present moment.

You might ask, what is the next step, from being present in the now? It is the connection to the heart within, to move into Heart Consciousness, where we are guided by the heart, liv-ing and expressing in grace and joy-fulness. This is the way of the New Earth energies, frequencies. harmon-ics which are available for us now and ever expanding even into more.

Within the sacred heart, there is still-ness, there is unconditional love and acceptance, and there is access to all truth and knowledge. Each of us has been given this gift and it is easily accessible upon choice.

It is like a muscle and with practice, you can strengthen it to use as you will, and eventually be living within that state of being, state of conscious-ness perpetually, living in heart con-sciousness. Today I will show you a simple way to access your sacred heart.

38 THEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2013

Entering the Sacred HeartFind yourself in a place of quiet. Take several deep slow breaths to relax yourself. Close your eyes and inten-tionally see and feel yourself gently moving into your sacred heart. You can place your hand on your heart if this assists you. All you have to do is imagine this and it is so. Take a mo-ment and just feel what you are feel-ing. Notice the peacefulness. Some of you may see yourself in a beautiful room.

Just be with this for a moment. Feel it. Feel the quiet and the peace. Now imagine your heart opening up further and allow yourself to feel deeper. You will begin to feel the love that radiates from this sacred place.Say the words, “I am home, I am in my sacred Heart and I choose to feel the love”. You will begin to feel the love flowing to you. Feel the flow and be in the attitude of accepting and receiving love, knowing that this is your divine right to feel love and know love.

With your intention of choosing this, it will flow to you. Be with this for a space of time, just allowing yourself to feel the love. This love is the love of the Creator, of Source, your Sacred Parents flowing to you unconditionally. You were created in great love. You are loved. You are love. This is your di-vine nature and your divine truth. You are children of The Goddess, Heav-enly Mother and the God, Heavenly

Father. Feel the love flowing. Feel the joy of knowing this love. Know that you are so loved.

Whatever it is that you desire you may ask. Say or think the words and choose to know the answer. You will be presented with the truth. With prac-tice you will build your confidence. With your intention you will remember. At first, you may choose simple ques-tions with yes and no answers. You will be able to feel what the truth is. With practice you will be able to receive more involved answers. You have ac-cess to all divine truth. Always ask knowing that you will receive. Be pa-tient as you develop this skill. Set the intention to be in clarity and at peace. In the stillness, you will be able to ac-cess the truth. The stillness is the vi-bration of divine love, the vibration of the Creator. It is your vibration as well for you are children of the Creator.

This gift will grow with you. With your desire, you will be able to expand your consciousness to the higher realms of light and love. It will bring you peace and contentment. You will remem-ber your connection to the oneness, the wholeness of the Creator. This is home.

To help you experience this reality, I am offering a Free Class, “Journey to the Sacred Heart”. We will be able to expand upon these concepts, allowing you to feel and experience it in a very

What Does It Mean to Be in Alignment?

www.thespiritualcatalyst.com

Art by Bernart Amygdalah Digital-Artwww.spacetribe.com/shop/guest-artists-c-315.html

41 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2013

We have all heard it again and again from spiritual guides and channels and self help professionals alike... the key to everything you want in this life is align-ment. But what does it really mean to be “in alignment”?

The definition of alignment is to bring components or parts into proper or de-sirable coordination correlation. In plain English, to align something means to place it in a line with something else or to arrange it so as to be parallel or straight with something else. But the question is with what? What are you supposed to be parallel with? The answer is... your higher self. Your higher self is the eternal, incorporeal, omnipotent, consciousness, which is your real self. It is the being that you go forth from and withdraw back to from life to life. It is the summation of all that you have ever been and all that you are. It is a consciousness which is inseparable from that which we call Source Energy (or God). So we could interchange the term Higher Self with the word Source.

In the beginning of this one life you are living, your higher self (Source) project-ed a portion of its self forward into third dimensional (physical) expression. This projection became... YOU, a tempo-rary perspective... A thought which now thinks. But your higher self did not fully become you. Instead, you became two points of perspective... Your physical self and your higher self. Why did you do this? Because the physical dimension is a contrasting environment which be-comes the very real, tangible manifes-

tation of exactly what thoughts we hold. And experiencing our thoughts tangi-bly has a way of helping us to birth new ideas and preferences in a way that nothing else can. And why is this impor-tant? Because as we experience this physical environment, and as desire causes us to give birth to new ideas, Source (God) aligns with those new ideas (desires) and becomes the exact vibra-tion of them. It is this process which we call expansion.

We, with our desires, are causing the expansion of Source. We are causing the expansion of the universe or that which we call God. And because we are an inseparable part of the oneness that is Source, we are causing our own ex-pansion as well. But how does all of this apply to your own alignment? Because once Source assumes the vibration of your desire, it begins to pull you towards convalescence with all of the conditions, opportunities and components neces-sary for the physical manifestation of your desire. And your emotions relative to that desire are born. You have a choice at this point which is to resist the pull of your higher self by remaining out of alignment with the desire, or to find alignment with the desire thereby allowing your higher self to pull you towards the manifestation.

As you are aligning with your true desires, you are aligning with your higher self. When we are talking about align-ment with the higher self, , we are talk-ing about creating (with the thoughts that we are thinking) an energetic vibrational

42 THEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2013

parallel between ourselves and our high-er selves. You could think of this in terms of tuning an instrument. To find alignment means to pick the thought which vibrates at the same frequency (musical note) as the frequency of the desire which your higher self (the orchestra) has now as-sumed. This is the key to manifestation. If we hold a thought which is out of align-ment with our own desires and therefore Source, we will suffer and we prevent the manifestation of the very desire we have given birth to in the first place. If we hold a thought which is in alignment with our desires and therefore Source, we will feel positive emotion and allow the manifestation of the very desire we have previously given birth to, into existence.

So why does a person suffer if they are out of alignment? Because our emotional systems are a biochemical, evolutionary component within our physical bodies which have one purpose and one pur-pose only, to give us accurate, moment by moment feedback about what fre-quency (musical note) the thought we’re currently holding is vibrating at. Again in plain English, this means that your emo-tions are the indication of whether the thought you’re thinking at this moment is in alignment with the frequency of your desires and Source or out of alignment with your desires and Source. If you think thoughts which are out of alignment with Source, you feel negative emotion. If you think thoughts which are in alignment with source, you feel positive emotion. You are biochemically hardwired to go in the direction of alignment. All you have to do to stay in alignment therefore is to care

first and foremost how you feel, choose to think thoughts that feel emotionally good to you and stop focusing on thoughts which feel emotionally bad to think.

Being in alignment first and foremost means feeling good... Feeling good means you are in alignment. Feeling bad means you are out of alignment. An example of not being in alignment would be holding on to a limiting, negative be-lief such as thinking that what you want is impossible, or thinking that you do not deserve something. Another example would be thinking that you need something. To need something means you are focused on the lack of that thing. And if you focus on lack, you simply manifest more lack.

An example of being in alignment would be holding on to a positive, self affirming belief such as “anything is possible”, or “I deserve to experience everything I de-sire”. To be in alignment to the degree that you experience positive manifestation, the trinity of your desire, your belief and your focus all have to be resonating at the same frequency (tuned to the same note). So how do you know if you’re out of align-ment with your desires and therefore Source? You will feel negative emotion. You will feel attached to the outcome. You will feel as if you desperately need (fill in the blank) in order to feel good. You will notice that you are giving most of your attention to the absence of (fill in the blank).

When you imagine (fill in the blank), it will make you more aware of what you don’t yet have which will make you feel bad. You will be wondering what you’re doing

43 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2013

wrong and because of that, you will be snowballing into more and more nega-tive emotions as you’re wondering why (fill in the blank) has not manifested yet. And you will be constantly looking for (fill in the blank), as if you do not have trust for it to simply manifest without effort. If you begin to hold yourself chronically “out of alignment”, the result will be that you will create a life of unhappiness for yourself. Your physical and mental health will begin to fail. Your life will lack pas-sion and you will begin to feel powerless.

How do you know if you’re in alignment with your desires and therefore Source? You will feel positive emotion. You will be looking forward to the manifestation of (fill in the blank) with enthusiasm and without attachment or need. You will trust that it will manifest with ease instead of effort. You will feel positive emotions when you imagine (fill in the blank) as if it is just around the corner and is inevitable. You will expect the manifestation of (fill in the blank). You will not be paying attention to (fill in the blank) having not manifested yet so you will feel like you are right on track. And you will be focused on any thought that makes you feel as if (fill in the blank) is already manifested. This will cause you to feel abundant instead of lacking. If you begin to make it a habit to remain “in align-ment” the result will be that you will create a life of joy for yourself. Your physical and mental health will improve. Your life will be full of passion and you will begin to feel the true freedom which is inherently yours.

To be in alignment means to hold a thought (and/or belief) which feels emo-

tionally positive and therefore resonates at the same frequency as your desire. This is your indication that you are in line with your higher self and subsequent-ly, that the manifestation of your desire (into the physical dimension) will oc-cur. You came into this physical dimen-sion with the full intention of remaining in alignment with your desires and your higher self, knowing that this would be the key to not only your own expansion but the eternal expansion of all that is.

In Memory of Shekhu

By Prabhat Misra

44 THEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2013

“Shekhu” was my beloved dog. He was born on 10th October 2005, on the holy-day of “Durga-Ashtami”, in district Kannauj of Uttar Pradesh province of India. He was very cute, specially his eyes. He came to Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh along with my family in October 2005.

When he was born, his one earlobe was cut by rats in the night of 10th October. So, he was single earlobe dog. Most of the time, his movement was round shape, in circular motion to capture sound waves. He was very alert dog. He did always wait for me and when i returned to home from office he come to me and show his love by mak-ing noise and applying saliva on my hands and foot.

He was very brave dog; he saved my life with her mother Kulee and sister Juni, from a 6 ft long snake, on 24th November 2007. The story of his bravery was published by “The Eden Magazine” in July 2012 edition on page number 31.

He was best friend of my son Sushmit; whenever Sushmit came to Etawah in holidays, he enjoyed every moment with my son. He was best follower and caretaker of my wife Dr. Mamta Shukla. He was a very important part and member of my family. He always given his love to my dear parents, Mr. Chandra Shekhar Mishra and Mrs. Usha Mishra, whenever they came to my residence in Etawah. He was a great dog. On 22nd July 2013, he died in the morning,in a road accident; that day was also a holy-day of “Guru Purnima” or “Buddha Purnima”. I lost a great friend and important part of my life.

He was a GREAT SOUL. May God rest him in peace. My salute to great “SHEKHU”.
