【作者介绍】

John McCann was born in Banbridge, Northern Ireland, and studied French and Spanish at Queen's

University Belfast. He became a lecturer in French at the Ulster Polytechnic, later the University of Ulster.

Since 1987 he has been based at the Magee campus of the university, where he has had a range of academic

and administrative responsibilities. His research interests are in nineteenth- and twentieth-century literature

and he has already published on Houellebecq.

Andrea Fumagalli is Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Pavia, Italy and Vice-President of

the Basic Income Network - Italy (BIN). His research interests comprise cognitive capitalism, basic income,

labour transformations and theory of money.

Carlo Vercellone is Assistant Professor at the University of Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne, CES CNRS. He has

edited various publications and is specialised in issues involving a knowledge-based economy, cognitive

Francesco Garibaldo is an industrial sociologist and former director of the Institute for Labour in Bologna

(Italy). He worked for several years for trade unions and is vice-president of the Research Committee on

Participation, Organizational Democracy and Self-Management RC10 of the International Sociological

Association.

Volker Telljohann is senior researcher at the Institute for Economic and Social Research of Emilia-Romagna

(IRES ER). He is an industrial sociologist and secretary general of the international network Regional and

Local Development of Work and Labour (RLDWL).
