Digital Signature Act 1997 [Act 562]

“Any digital signature used as an electronic signature

in any Government activities.”

A type of digital signature.

Uses an encrypted key to imprint an invisible signature of the filer

on the document being filed.

Allows court to confirm that the document filed is authentic and is

from a legitimate source.
