ECONOMIC FORECAST LUNCHEON SCHEDULE October 15, 2014 • 11:30 a.m.—1:30 p.m. McLane Stadium Waco • Ballroom In her recent speech at the Jackson Hole Economic Symposium, Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen noted that the national economy continues to travel through uncharted territory as it recovers from the Great Recession. Under these circumstances, policy “must be conducted in a pragmatic manner that relies not on any particular indicator or model, but instead reflects an ongoing assessment of a wide range of information.” Much the same is true of the Central Texas economy. Stimulated by construction of McLane Stadium and the Paul L. Foster Campus for Business and Innovation at Baylor, The Domain residential complex, surging auto sales, and strong retail sales, the Central Texas economy exhibited strong growth in the first half of 2014. On the other hand, several sectors of the Waco economy continue to lag and some of the largest construction projects are near completion. So local decisions also should be based on “a wide range of information.” Is the current recovery sustainable? How will the economy be affected by the mid- term elections? How much longer will the Federal Reserve continue to maintain extremely low interest rates? Our speakers at the 2015 Economic Forecast Luncheon will address these issues and provide the information and insight you need to run your business and to manage your personal investments. ECONOMIC FORECAST LUNCHEON

SCHEDULEOctober 15, 2014 • 11:30 a.m.—1:30 p.m. McLane Stadium Waco • Ballroom

In her recent speech at the Jackson Hole Economic Symposium, Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen noted that the national economy continues to travel through uncharted territory as it recovers from the Great Recession. Under these circumstances, policy “must be conducted in a pragmatic manner that relies not on any particular indicator or model, but instead reflects an ongoing assessment of a wide range of information.”

Much the same is true of the Central Texas economy. How will the economy be affected by the mid-term elections? How much longer will the Federal Reserve continue to maintain extremely low interest rates?
