Hope Street Group Teacher Leader Training Symposium Have you ever wanted to be involved in education policy but stay in your classroom? Are you looking for ways to be a leader without becoming an administrator? Traditionally, teachers have received little training on how to get involved or are reticent because it would take them away from their classrooms, but times are changing and classroom leadership opportunities abound. This interactive session will allow teachers to examine and discuss the best methods for engaging in policy conversations that impact their work in the classroom and learn about formal opportunities for teacher leadership, giving each participant an action plan for how s/he can have an effect.

Scientific Education in the 21st Century

Presenters:

He learned that the lack of a rapid, low-cost early screening method contributed to the poor survival rate among individuals with pancreatic cancer. After thinking further about the problem, he came up with a plan and a budget to put his ideas in motion.
